Iyanya is about to sing oreo on my Note 8....... Downloading update at the moment.....

I think this Oreo is bug infested...... While using this Note on Nougat, it only crashed once in almost a month's usage.......


After upgrading to Oreo, phone crashed on me about 5 times now (in less than 48 hours after upgrade)........

I hope Sammy sends a patch soonest......

Yeah Nougat was better, let's wait for any patch to fix all the abnormalities

Factory defects do happen .

Mine too was samsung direct. Heck my last 4 samsung phones were bought from samsung (3 from the samsung shop in Dubai Mall).

If your phone is crashing after Android Oreo then you prolly have a lemon.

It's not crashing all the time nah Oga..... Just an observation I decided to speak about.....

It was very stable on Nougat, and I send all crash logs to Samsung.
I hope others too are sending crash logs, so a patch can be sent out......

Maybe just bad luck. Did you try a factory wipe?

Factory wipe would be a bit extreme for occasional crashes.

I have already logged into the Samsung members area app within my phone and sent Samsung a query and full device diagnostic log.

Samsung is very proactive.........

I finally found the note 8 thread....Wakanda phone..Lol

I installed oreo and phone has moments of instability (it just crashes)...

You can take a gamble....

My Note 8 is a duos version + exynos.....

Since the update to Oreo, it crashes between 2/3 a day......

It never crashes during calls (which is a good thing). It only crashes when I open certain apps (I have deleted them to observe).......

After deleting certain suspicious apps causing my device to crash.

Phone is now stable and no crashes experienced so far.....
