You will notice a little red floating SOS button on your U-GO Services app. With a tap of this button, you will be able to report your distress (when riding or at home) to our response team that will act immediately.
Convenience and security bro!!!

Dovehorizon:
A driver by name Ifeanyi picked my girl from Abraham Adesanya to The Palms lekki, you were talking about girls, married men and how you met your wife , I told her to rate you 5star not because she enjoyed the ride but because I know what it feels like to rated low.
Try to understand your rider before starting a conversation.

Did he get her to her destination? Yes
Was he rude to her? No
Was there any disservice? No
Must you really rate a driver if there wasn't any major issues?
If she had rated him low, what reason would she have indicated?.....Driver was talking too much.
Cant she just get to you and you continue your date?
Should you type all the trash above?
So he talked about stuff she probably was not interested in.......how does that translate to a low rating? Seriously bro.
I am really pissed with people like you.

Hi all, new on this Uber platform.

Would like to know what the partner's responsibility is with regards the vehicle maintenance?

What items are mandatory for the driver to resolve?

Met some drivers who want me to fix every issue that may arise with the car but where they live isn't really sound. What compromise might one reach? I believe in win-win.

Thanks

Do not give out vehicle to driver whose areas have terrible roads. I've seen it before, it doesn't end well.

Many people tell drivers to handle repairs of 5k and below, while they handle the rest. Some others fix absolutely everything, while some others practise shared maintenance, where partner takes the lion share of every maintenance and repair bill. Choice is yours.

The roads trips take them to is worse than where they live

well i dont think he was talking about this business in particular... reasons are 1. no one will be particular about using a peugeot on that road... yes people use all sort of vehicles even Benz and Chrysler, well he has his reasons for being particular about peugeot and what kind of peugeot was he talking about? 2. Business is Business if you are greedy about any business you wont make anything out of it in the long run. i said Sienna cus it has space for both passengers and luggage; you can make money from luggage alone so its a win win thingy.. Dont be a thomos sienna has a very high resale value, try it first before you conclude thanks
cross8701:

Someone else wrote stuff like this not so long ago promising all sorts... His vehicle of choice then was Peugeot, it didn't work out for a lot of people that listened to him. If it works for you fine however, this thread is for Uber/ Taxify E hailing.

Are you serious right now? Do you how annoying it is being roped into a conversation you have no interest in? Upon the money you're paying for silence! It's a general rule: Do not start any nonsense conversation unless your rider initiates it/shows sufficient interest. I would rate him negative if that were possible sef.

I understand Lagos roads can be bad. But can you imagine plying the really bad hinterland roads at least twice a day because that is the road to your house? There is no way the effects won't be apparent on the car in a short while. I still maintain, check where your driver lives, if the road is really bad, withdraw your offer.

Some drivers outrightly refuse to take trips to really bad areas. They've been taught to be responsible for their vehicles. We've had to rescue vehicles due to damage that are avoidable, if only drivers had insisted they are not taking that particular route.

I know the rule lad, stop being petty and picky. If he decides to talk and you keep mute throughout, then fine. Drop off and go your way. Rate him whatever. He wasn't rude to you.
But coming on NL to whine about your girl and a driver really sucks.
We don't care. Stop giving yourselves stupid attentions.

On the contrary, I'm closer to this business than you can imagine. Both as a driver and as a lead tech for a fleet management company.
