Do you know holding a book to your face has its own advantages too, when we are talking about noise to the ears as a hazard? Reading prints is a good alternative to reading on the system or using earpiece, which its prolonged use may cause harm to your ear drums.

Due to my hearing problem, I can't do audio books...

That's true, but less than one in 5000 books has an audio version so you are missing out on so many great reads

Sorry for that but as far as Im concerned, Im not in support of listening to audio books.
No matter how minimal the sound might be, prolong listening to it will still cause hearing problem in the long run.

Reading all this books without discipline is a utter waste of time.

Pleass someone should recommend for me any book similar to that of Richard Wright's NATIVE SON; filled with crime suspense.

I have not read NATIVE SON so I won't really know what kind of crime thriller you are interested in but I will seriously suggest you read Agatha Christie's collections.
I just downloaded Native Son and will read it next.
I also like self development books like the ones you listed above and have read quite a few that have really impacted my life.
