while everyone is celebrating the risen christ (easter), I'm yet to see where my joy will come from. Below are the things bothering my mind for the past 3 days......

1) my health is not getting any better - this is not new to old members here. I'm on a sofa looking like one of the refugees from syria. I'm looking unkempt as I don't have the strength to take care for my body. Someone once said I look 40 when I'm just in my 20s. Hmm... I seek divine healing.


Someone in one of my threads suggested I try grinded mustard seed in honey to free the obstruction. I'll keep trying different methods once I get money. I suspect a cancerous cell somewhere though

2) the joy of easter is not in my home - from good friday till now, it has been from one complain to another. mama would say: you boys are not seeing your mate fetching money for their parents? Who touched the pot? Why did you use my water and so on.


No outing.... No love found. No sweet food eaten yesterday (just stale ogbono soup). Hmmm

3) some goals are unattainable - it pains to know one can't measure up to his/her mates. Boys from 20, move to their own place, enter a relationship, buy designer clothes and hang out with friends. At 26, I can't boast of any of the good life. I can't stay on my own because I'm incapacitated (financially and health-wise), I can't date cause I smell from infections. I'm unkempt and broke too. I can't remember when I attended a wedding as I have obsolete clothes.


My daily routine has been; wake, press phone, take panadol extra and lie down idle because of my challenges. I wish I could feel exuberant like other youths

I honestly am tired of this op. No matter the tonnes of advice nairalanders gathered for him, he still comes back with the same complain

you think they were able to get these by laying down all day and doing nothing but creating threads on nairaland?

You are not the only one with health challenges. Everyone has one health issue or the other. Go out there and see how people without two hands or legs are hustling for money.
