This is the definitive list of the most expensive universities to attend in Nigeria. The table is expectedly filled up by private universities.

Over the past five years we've seen a lot of changes in the tuition price of most private universities with the likes of Madonna, Bowen, Igbinedion which used to be the most expensive, stabilizing fees majorly due to very stiff competition from existing competitors and NUC's licensing of other private universities.

Ironically, the most expensive private universities are enjoying a good number of enrollments which the cheaper private universities aren't getting. This is because for a private university to enjoy enrollment and thrive it must either offer Luxury based education or become a centre of academic excellence.

Luxury based university education is easier and cheaper to fund. The aim would be to attract students from rich homes and once admitted they would easily sustain the academic and social life of the university.

Research based private universities are harder to acheive because they must keep fees low enough to attract the intelligent talents from the middle class and keep the fees high enough to sustain the university. They must also have a strong financial base which would help fund the academia. By HigherEd

I just finished checking the website of the number one federal uni in Nigeria and I was disappointed with what I saw. The site looks like the average Nigerian hustle blog and yet the FG subsidizes undergrads of that uni with hundreds of thousand per year. Nigerans and crowd mentality are truly like 5 & 6.

99% of Nigerian Universities have trashy websites.
UI, UNN, Unilorin, ABU, Uniport alongside all Federal universities have trashy websites. UNN tried though, with a quite informative website but awful graphics still.

Babcock, Bells, Crawford, ABUAD have super awful websites and zero 'official' presence on social media-too poor for private universities!

AUN, Elizade, Landmark, Covenant are the only four universities with well updated websites, no broken links and heavy 'official' presence on SM.

Now that I know them...wetin i wan take them do? Case dismissed. Wait o, some freezers will soon come and be shouting tithe tithe tithe...and how offerings were used to build versities. They won't shout tax tax tax...oil oil oil...and how the whole country cannot build a standard university with the commonwealth.

Mehn, my school fees from yr 1 to 5 including off camp accommodation no reach some of those uni fees for 1yr. Thank goodness for federal universities, else poor chaps like us no for go school be that. Also, Jamb made it easier for us; those ones wey no fit pass Jamb that year Na dem dey hustle private uni.

Good, so far as quality education is obtainable in these schools. Does anyone know the performance rating of graduates from these schools? Are they better vis-à-vis public universities'?

Covenant University is 8th position. These critics pretend to fight for the people in their criticism but only the wise can see they are controlled by the antichrist spirit.
