Relax and await your stamped passport soon!
I was in the same shoes as you but my husband and I kept on calling them/writing emails to them. A day before my trip, they called me to come to the embassy to pick it up.

My wife also submitted on the 26th of march but she's also yet to receive her documents. She is supposed to take a flight on Thursday night. Honestly I don't understand these people again.

The visa was supposed to have been approved before they sent the am mail so i don't know what could be taking that long
Once you get the AM, it means the visa has been approved. Sometimes, the embassy delays in stamping the visa on the passport for reasons best known to them. But be sure that your wife will get her passport back at least a day before.

And for those about to send their passport, please don’t book your trip too soon. Give them at least 14 days (if you can).
Shalom!!

Ok, Thanks...

But can the deadline they will give me be extended further?
say they give me a week, can I request for an additional one week ??

I don't know about that. Sometimes they send reminder mail according to the closeness of your enrolment deadline.

Tips to anyone awaiting admission decision by July but needs to book visa appointment in advance. It was a bad experience last year for some of us who could not book visa appointment for winter session due to the rush. Because i was also a victim last year and i told myself i must book my appointment ahead.

while i am still awaiting admission letter from the school i applied to, i sent an email to the school explaining my last year experience and the need for me to book in advance, the school then sent me a letter of CONFIRMATION of the existence of a proper application for admission addressed to the consulate general. I used this letter with other required documents to book an appointment via email this morning particularly requesting for a date in early July and it was granted. The implication is that if the school finally give me admission by June ending, i am good to go.
It may also work for you.

No. I'm currently schooling at a Nigerian university (second year) but I'm contemplating crossing to another country. Thanks.

Hello everyone!
I am new here, I was denied a US student visa last month. Now I'm thinking of studying in Germany instead.
Please, can anyone brief me on the whole process? From applying to schools, to the visa application??.
I did some google searches, and I saw something about getting ahealth insurance before applying for schools.
Its really confusing!
I already have a school in mind, Technical University of Munich.

please someone help!

No mind them...Germany is better if u discipline yourself and learn the language

The most important thing for studying in Germany is getting admitted into a uni....After that, it's very straightforward, just keep coming to the forum and keep reading....If u can read from part 1....

Has anyone that did interview on 22-02-2018 gotten AM yet?

I have been waiting for AM since then. This morning I got a reply to the email I sent on Friday ... Saying Decision would be made soon concerning your visa.My enrollment Deadline is 16-04-2018, I funded before interview.

Considering the Enrollment deadline, is it possible to meet up if AM shows this week?

I will appreciate better suggestions on how to go about this Guys

My advise, remove that one school off your mind and be ready to send applications to as many schools as you can find. I just hope by the time you get admission it won't have been late to apply for visa. That's the more reason why you should apply to any school that has what you looking for. No harm in trying. Even if you don't make it, Summer is there for you OK.

Happy researching

Good evening house!!!
The schools I intend applying to for winter 2018, have not started their application processes, I think they will start in May. Considering how difficult it is to get visa interview dates and how long it might also take to get one's documents back, what are my chances

I've not sent any applications yet, still waiting for my transcripts.....
Would appreciate some response and advice. Thanks

Good evening guys,

Please I'm planning on booking an appointment soon. But I need clarity on an issue. I'm most times busy at work and I have a strict boss. I can only get the chance to go for the interview on Mondays. While sending the mail to the embassy, can I tell them to help me fix the appointment on a Monday ? Anyone done this before?
