This your analysis no follow at all bro....
For instance, if xiaomi set up a store here and decide to hike the price of redmi 5 from 50 to 70 and the price in Aliexpress remains the same, then the aim is defeat undecided because Nigerians I know would prefer to buy from oversea than xiaomi stores here.

The price of xiaomi phones in India is not different with those in China....

Let's stop this assertion...

Do you have any experience working with any mobile phone company doing business in Nigeria? Have you done any kind of research on this?

I beg to differ, prior to my making my own review about the phone, every comment tended to portray the device in a zero sum light in which a person who got it, had a perfect mid range phone.

I ain't over complaining, just trying to be objective and instituting same in this thread.

I don't think I will need any research Mr. Henry. All I know is that, there won't be any difference if xiaomi decides to open a store here.

Believe me xioami don't need a store here to sell its product. They already built a global reputation which helps in moving their market.

Xiaomi in the next 2 years will outsell Tecno in Nigeria #Fact

Off to office, bye

Nigeria is not a target market for Xiaomi and Huawei....you know huawei mobile marketing team were here before and they locked shop, why do you think that is?

What you call sales is insignificant to Xiaomi and TECNO. They don't even rate Africa as a whole as a potential target market yet. The terrain is not favorable in any way.

Xiaomi that you're forcing to sell on African soil don't want to sell here....On purpose. No amount of importers can convince millions of Nigerian phone users to buy Xiaomi phones.

Have you ever randomly seen 4 people using Xiaomi in the wild before?

Did Xiaomi as a brand do anything to facilitate this?

I stand to be corrected though.

I had an opposite experience. My update continued from where it stopped. Surely, it's the updater.

Perfect price-wise, value for money. No one said a 3080mAh would outperform a 50000mAh. If you need a battery beast, the note 4 and max2 are there
