Melo and George no try for Russ last night. If Melo is taking 16 shots and only making 25% of them then you have to really wonder what his use is for this team?

Loool at Raptors. Only a healthy Celtics team stand a chance in the East. I like DeRozan but his ceiling is what his ceiling is tbh

I kept praying he shot 3s and he did 0/9 from 3pts, 4/16FG.. OKC's problem is beyond just Melo.. I've been saying this since their poor run early in the season. The way they play is their problem. No screens, no plays, no cutting, etc. Do they even realize they have Steven Adams? How potent will it be if they run heavy on high pick and roll with Westbrook and PG or Melo? I bet Melo's fat asss would have a problem setting picks, rolling or cutting back doors. They'll get higher percentage FG attempts doing this but all they do is take turns on offense and think that's teamwork. but what do i know?

I know those guys played badly and Russell, played well but I think it is the underlying tactic Kerr uses for OKC: to force him to go berserk as long as he is the only one.

If you watched, Draymond was pestering Camelo all game. All his shots were contested. Same for PG and the wing shooters. It was to close the space for Russell to either shoot or drive to the rim. That is why he had lower assists than he usually would but ultra high rebs and points.

You would never hear or read me say RW is not a top player. But I would maintain that his hero ball won't win OKC games when it is key. OKC need Adams, PG and to some degree Melo to win games and it is RWs duty to bring out the best in them.

Obviously he could do that and still lose. But I wager they would win more games down the stretch than they have lost.

Also, people might say if PG and Melo hit their shots, OKC wins but that may not be true. They got almost 2 times the free throws GSW did and dominated the boards. KD did not even shoot that well. But GSW moved the ball really well and gave everyone touches. But Melo did not have any time to get into rhythm. So he clanged and boarded shot after shot.

For this match,the warriors were clearly better and you're also spot on with those kerr tactics on russ but i slightly disagree with this statement...

If you've seen our last games,P.G and especially MELO have not just been coming through but peeps and analysts will always conclude that it is russ that makes players bad and no one can play with him...i agree russ has his own bad and selfish sides but sometimes,lets also watch the plays of other guys and not always put the blame on russ...

I am not blaming him. He played well and they did not. I am saying he can show better leadership.

Melo and to most degrees PG cannot become so bad after 1 season. Oladipo can not become so good after 1 season. It is leadership. Not that Russell cannot play, he needs to be more of a leader.

You can tell that triple double is on his mind again. If he averages 12 rebounds per game till season ends he will average a triple double they said. Then he gets 16 rebounds against GSW. Most were legit but I can tell you, one or 2 or 3 of those were arrangee.

That is what I mean, he needs to fashi those stats and find how to make his team Win.

The offense as a whole is badly run I agree. The way they use Steven Adams varies from game to game and they could do better. My problem with OKC is the fact that their additions have not been complimentary and this is probably why their offense does not seem to work most times. Oladipo, Melo, George. Russ all have one thing in common: They cannot function without the ball in their hands. When the best 3 players in your team are like that then you are going to have problems late in games

That's why throwing stars at problems instead of recognizing their fit is hurting a lot of teams. Everybody talks about the one Superteam that works! Nobody talks about the 10 that fail

I totally agree with you on this.. Fit is more important than anything else. That's why I was never bothered when the hype about Melo, PG13 and Russ was at an all time high. If i remember correctly, you and Eruditor mentioned how those 3 guys are heavy ball handlers and how they can't contribute without the ball. It's too late to fix it. Melo is a waste Bruh. I can't blame Russ or anyone for his problems.

Don't forget their Coach. He couldn't find success with KD and still hasn't. Eric Spoelstra, Brad Stevens, Dwayne Casey, Kerr and Pop will do wonders with that OKC squad. So many franchises are just in the NBA to fill in the gap.. All names and no vision.

There's the answer to your first question. If love shows up in the playoffs like I know he will this time and stays healthy all through, I will even give us a good chance in the finals.
