One day, Fela saw Blessing with Kunle at the beach, he hurriedly rushed to call Ademola but they've (Kunle and Blessing) left before Fela came back with Ademola. They confirmed the rumour to be true. They told Tunji about their discovery and they told him that he should leave the case for them and promise that they will make Blessing come back to him. Tunji was bit relived after Fela had promise to retrieve Blessing for him, he rested his back on the bed and slept off. When Blessing realised strange movement around her, and also realised that some people had been spying on her. She made an investigation and found out that Tunji had set some people to watch her. She was afraid when she discovered that the people tailing her are members of the dreaded buccaneers. Its not like she intended to date Kunle, but when she thought that a student progress lies in the hand of the teacher and remembered Tosin telling her that she can only have good grades if she dated Kunle. She thought to herself that she must do something about it so as to handicap those tailing her. |

She hurriedly dressed up, she didn't even bother about the afternoon lecture. She boarded a vehicle and went straight to Swiss estate and luckily for her, she met Tunji at home doing nothing. the condition she met him was not good at all. Tunji found it difficult to answer Blessing when she greeted him but sister Blessing didn't mind the attitude, she moved her chair near Tunji and tried to hold his hand. Tunji's mind was already filled with dejection so he withdraw his hand from Blessing's own and said "What happened and what did you want, I thought your new man is enough for you and what do you now need from me" "Tunji remembered how we started, even if people are saying rumor about me do you believe them?" Blessing questioned with a soft tone. "Shut up jare you deceitful woman, you don't know that where there is people who know how to talk, there are also people who know how to hear. Sha stand up and be going because I don't want you to addup to my problems" Blessing didn't mind the attitude he was receiving because she knew that every man would behave like that so she came prepared. She began saying all sort of sweet words which calmed Tunji down. When she observed that the guy is calmed, she kissed him on the lips and they had a nice time together. Na only God fit save persin from devilish woman like Blessing. Tunji escorted her but not like before because he's avoiding does he was indebted to. He didn't pass and neither did he failed, he only remained in the same class. No progress, the manager had already told him that he is far from promotion because of his sudden change of attitude. Blessing returned to the hostel and met Prof Kunle in her room. 'Where are you coming from?' 'From the street' 'To do what?' 'To check on Tunji' 'So you are still with Tunji after everything I have done for you' 'No ooo, I only went there to warn him and his friend to stop spying on us, don't be angry my dear' Blessing said and sat on Kunle's lap and they locked lips. Oladebo opened the door and saw them. Kunle and Blessing adjusted when they say her, Ladebo greeted them and left the room. 'If a man prayed not to be disgrace and eventually got disgraced, his only prayer is not to die after the disgrace' Blessing said confidently after Debo left the room 'Have you now see that it is compulsory I get married to you because I can't be doing it secretly again' Kunle answer Blessing Blessing was stunned with Kunle's statement because she wasn't expecting it. She was with mixed felling because of Tunji and what her family will think of her but after remembering everything she had achieved from Kunle, she decided to forget the past and continue with the future. Oladebo explained her ordeal to Daniel and Tunji and Tunji decide to visit Blessing once againm he went there on sunday and he met Tosin and Blessing sleeping due to the night party they went to. Tunji greeted the two friends and he was offered a sit. He declined the drink given to him for refreshment. He gisted with them for a while though Tosin was not happy with the visit but there's nothing she could do. After confirming what he wanted to confirm from Blessing's block mates, Tunji left the hostel and went back to his friends. All they needs to do now is to stop Kunle by all means. He and his friends tried everything to investigate and they succeeded, it now remains how they are gonna execute their plan. They must go back to reschedule their plan. They went to their various houses to plan how they will punish Professor Kunle Adedokun maybe it will serve as a lesson to all the lecturer that always finds pleasure in dating the students under them. |

++++++++++ Chapter 5 +++++++++++++ "Complicated" It has now become the trending topic on everybody's lips that a lecturer is dating a female student. This made Kunle to have so many thoughts about him and Blessing. The truth is that he don't really love Blessing, he only planned to get under her skirt like he normally do to all the female students that falls under his trap but the outcome he's getting now is not part of the script he had written. He don't want to be see as a weakling man that's why he told Blessing that he will make their relationship official. "You can be inside the river and be complaining of cold, if a man runs aways from war, what should a woman do? Help me!! Help me!! Is not an anthem for a soldier man" these are the watchword that Kunle usually use to encourage himself whenever his mind drifted to relationship between him and Blessing. He later concluded that he do everything so as to make sure that Tunji never win. Blessing also on the other hand seems afraid because of the people Tunji were working with or rather say working with Tunji, most of them are into cultism and they all have connections inside and out side Lagos and the worst of it was the letter they received few weeks ago. The letter was pasted on the school notice board It goes thus: From The House Of The Big Boys Hell Road, Street Of Thieves Abuja. Nigeria 10-10-1982 To Prof Kunle This is letter of greeting from us to you our honorable professor, we are using this medium to warn you to desist from the secret affairs you're having with one of the students we put under you. We knew when you started your affairs with Blessing, we were quiet watching you maybe your ancestors are with you but you proved to us that they are dead and gone. The end of the line you're threading is dangerous and we're begging you to back off or else!!! " A Word they say is enough for the wise" Yours' Truly Buccaneers Blessing slept in Kunle's house that very day, they went to club where one of kunle's friend was celebrating birthday. Tosin was also with Segun. So none of them slept in the hostel room. The time was already after 2am when Blessing and Kunle got home. They started another merriment and later slept like log of woods Don't forget that neither Blessing nor Tosin slept in the hostel room. Nobody will kuku ask them where they were coming from. Ademola, Fela, Olusesan and Daniel were the one who wrote the letter that was sent to Kunle and Blessing. They pasted one at Blessing door post and did the same to Kunle door post and they pasted the last one to the school notice board. They did the job during midnight with the help of some of their buccaneers members . Like I said earlier, Blessing and Kunle slept like log of woods that they don't even know that the time was far spent. It was John the house boy the knocked at their door to tell them about the parcel he received. Kunle came out wearing his nighties, he collected the parcel from John and opened it. He saw the letter and read the articles inside. He shivered, his countenance changed, he caused the first day he met Blessing |

Firstly, Blessing get the hint of what was happening until she was the letter, she was down casted after reading the letter, she knew that trouble is looming. No one dares with the buccaneers. The room was tensed, the atmosphere change. It difficult to know what was on Kunle's mind, is it about the lady he's about to loose or the money he had exhausted on the girls? He had already collected all the money in his account plus all the loans he had borrowed just to impress Blessing. "What do you think we can do?" Kunle finally broke the tension with the question. "What can we do as how? I've already given my life to you completely, if it leads to death am ready, and if it's also vice versa am also ready" Blessing answered encouraging. Kunle was not pleased with what she just said, but he decided to be mute so as not to discourage Blessing. they were still discussing when John came in to inform them that Segun is around. John left the room and Segun entered into the sitting room. Kunle showed him the letter and the guy did not even twice look before he said "Shebi it is those foolish people, don't mind them jare, they did more that that when I started with Tosin, look at us now, we'll be getting married in the next 3 months." What Segun said encourage Blessing and Kunle. They spoke for a while befoe Blessing returned back to her Hostel room. When Blessing got to the campus, most of the students were eyeing her suspiciously. As she entered her room, Tosin welcomed her with a letter she saw at the notice board, she also told her that the same letter were pasted in many halls like Begrenset, Optiplexn, Monogram, Lugard, Henry Carr and including their own Hall . Blessing heaved a sigh of frustration after listening to everything Tosin said. She knew she was in a deep sh!t. "I can see you are afraid, everything they are doing is just a mere threat, they did more than this when I started with Segun, they threatened us but we stood firmly, when quited when they realized that we were un movable. So I'll advise you to stay strong" Tosin said to calmed her friend down. The magic worked just like Tosin wished for, Blessing mood was lighten up. "Thanks jere ore mi, am now more confident than before and I hope Kunle also change his mood sooner" Blessing replied confidently. Kunle on the other hand supposed to tell the school authority but how is he gonna put. He later concluded with Segun that they should wait and see what will happen. Months passed and not even a single string was pulled by the Buccaneers even after the wedding between Segun and Tosin. That means the buccaneers were only bragging. They started their own wedding plans because they were advised that the only weapon they have is to get married A.S.A.P and if anybody tries any funny thing, the person will be dealt with severely and accordingly. 1 Like |

Marriage is intresting Tunji's friend stood with him, they never left him anytime. They were even the mastermind of punishing Kunle. They have been informed about the wedding. It was Bankole a family friend of Tunji living in Lagos told Tunji that the families of Adedokun had already went to Osun State to meet Blessing's parent and it seems like Samuel was not in support of it but Susan was fully in support when she heard that Kunle is a professor. Samuel had no choice than to concur and besides, he will chose his family first before choosing friends. "Truly, it is only God that knows the husband of a spinster Tunji spent all his earnings on Blessing, no savings at all. He had become a laughing stock in the neighborhood due to all the debt he had just to satisfy Blessing. But look at it now, "Blessing is getting married to another man" Bimbo nearly died of heart attack when she heard that Blessing is getting married to another man, it was very painful but there is nothing she could do. Bolade didn't feel sad, he didn't get angry, he acted like a real man. The introduction was done silently, only few people knew about it. It was one of Susan's friend that told Bimbo about the introduction. The families had given the go ahead to the wedding and there's nothing any Tunji can do again. Bimbo left for Lagos to tell Tunji about the introduction but unknown to her that Tunji had already known. When she got to Tunji's house, she was heartbroken with the condition she met him, she asked what the problem was and Tunji explained everything to his mother. Bimbo urges her son not to think about the issue because it might lead to a serious sickness. Kunle that already knows what he's going to do with his friends replied his mother with "all is going to be well maami" Bimbo left Lagos and went back to Osun. As the preparation of the wedding continues at Kunle and Blessing's house, Tunji, Daniel, Fela, Ademola and Sesan also continue the preparation of the downfall of the wedding. Tunji's friend assured him that the time has come for them to punish Kunle. They wrote another letter to Kunle, they letter goes thus: Warning Letter for Professor Kunle Adedokun We are using this medium to remind you of the letter we wrote to you on 10th of October, 1982 about a lady named Blessing you are having an affairs with. We were also informed that you have secretly done introduction with the family of the lady. You are bold, but don't let it kill you. A word is enough for the wise. 07 - 05 - 1983 We remain the same |
