Applications are now open for 2018/2019 Australia Award Scholarships. The scholarships for African Students is been categorized into two sections : Australian Awards Scholarships : for candidates who are interested in taking a higher degree studies in Australia at Masters level, and Australia short courses : for candidates who wish to undertake short-term targeted professional training courses in Australia and/or Africa, in a range of development focused sectors.



Australia Awards is a key element of the Australian Government's development assistance program for Africa. It is aimed at ;

Providing access to postgraduate education
Giving training and professional development opportunities for suitably qualified Africans from eligible countries.
It is expected of the Australia Awards Alumni to contribute actively to development in their home countries. This progamme has been carried out successfully since 1980.

Number of scholarships for African Students : 1,000

Value of Scholarship: Fully funded
Duration of Scholarship : duration of selected programme

Were you shortlisted?

I also applied but have not heard from them. I expect that there should be a communication from them even if one didn't make it. Please kindly share the email with us.
