Decale:Are you going to sit down there and tell me with a straight face that Ben did not enjoy any single advantage being in a professional team while Donovan was going to class and working to get Louisville into the NCAA before playing in the college basketball post season? All I am saying is that we should stop making subjective interpretation of a definition that the NBA swears by to suit different player at different times. Li Angelo and La Melo may get drafted during the next draft after playing professional basketball in Lithuania, what happens if one of them explodes in the league, how would the NBA defend their rookie status based on the definition they are using? Some folks ask why is this an issue now? My response is marketing..The NBA has not had an exceptional rookie class in a very long time. In-fact after the NBA drafted Blake, Kyrie and Dame in consecutive years (They also won rookie of the year respectively), the rookie class going forward have been horrible including the winners of the award. While Donovan may want the award, do you think he is responsible for exaggerating the situation? Naaa. Adidas has seen an opportunity to sell hoodies using Donovan's situation and they convinced Donovan to wear the sweater. Whats next? Nike will come up with their in defense of Simmons. That is why I am careful when I am arguing for or against any sports situation especially when it has to do with young ones. The definition of the word "Rookie" and the interpretation in the NBA is illogical and that is what it is. |

Roland17:Leave Decale alone na. He's being politically correct about what the word Rookie is. Anyways, Ben Simmons wins the award, obviously. Guys like Mitchell can only take that as a motivation. The media loves the perfect story, the "process", the stats meanwhile uncle was there enjoying the NBA experience. |

Mamba Knows. “Cleveland seems to be executing a more democratic style of offence,” Bryant said. “I did a piece last year or a couple years ago, maybe last year, about the two kings system that the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing with, LeBron and Kyrie, and contrast that with Golden State’s democracy. “If you watch Cleveland play now, they’re starting to play with a more democratic system. “[You] see LeBron at the elbow at the top of the key being the Draymond Green of the Cavs, while the other players, whether it’s Jordan Clarkson or Kevin Love are running corner split games, playing a rip action, doing stuff on the weak side where they’re moving off the ball. “That makes them infinitely more dangerous.” The signs have been there. This whole regular season was an elaborate ruse. We knew in order to beat the west, we would need to deceive them. Now these bums won't know what hit them. Mark me, Cavs in Four! |

Brodie deserves to be in the MVP conversation considering he has averaged triple doubles in consecutive seasons. After all what are Bron fans hinging his legitimacy on? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:33pm On Apr 12, 2018 |
If Westbrook hears dying will make him an NBA legend I am certain he will try to die a thousand times. Baba no dey take stat-padding play. Don't worry, in 15 years, many will ask why he did not win another MVP like they are doing for Oscar Robertson now. |

Chris Paul has a son. When he is old and CP3 is a coach or an owner we would judge him then. Viera was a well-known harsh talker until he started managing. Now he is humble and quick to defend failing managers. The bitter leaf will see what the coco yam has seen in the pot of soup. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:36am On Apr 13, 2018 |
Eruditor:Not stat padding per say..He just wants the ball more and he had the opportunity to do what no player had done before..though triple double may be over-rated sometimes... |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:04am On Apr 13, 2018 |
Eruditor:CP3 is a core reason the Clippers failed during the assembly. He was undisciplined/ selfish and these behaviors were detrimental and contagious within the group. He always looked to assert himself, needs, and style of play ahead of the coaches tactics and that cost them some games in the postseason. You can see snippets of this indiscipline with the Rockets now as he has succeeded in exaggerating harmless situations into big fights. This is his last shot at getting a ring and I hope he does not blow it too early in the first round with his lack of respect for others. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:38am On Apr 13, 2018 |
Roland17:CP3 is so entitled. He acts cool and soft but underneath, he has attitudinal problems. I have always seen him that way: Like an elitist. Lebron is the same way as well even though they hide it. You come to a team and start telling them who to fire and they pretend to the media like you had nothing to do with it. I even saw that documentary CP3 did and he is lucky Harden does not get petty because some other players would have felt some type of way. CP3s friend was asking him his opinion on the 3teams courting him; Your Celtics, SAS and Rockets. He felt Pop will leave SAS soon. Suspected you guys would go for him only if Kyrie turned y’all down then when he was asked about Harden he said “He lives in the gym but he is the typical rich NBA guy”. That is CP3 already feeling that Harden’s flashy lifestyle away from basket ball may rub off on him the wrong way. I know they say it was love at first sight and what not but I guarantee they are one bad series a way from imploding. Or I guess I just Dey bad belle them. Permit me to ja re. ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:43am On Apr 13, 2018 |
aliondo:Bros, your man is a chronic stat-padder. I said it even after the GSW game if you remember. To me, he just zeros in on the trivial parts of the game. Things that won’t really really matter if we look at it critically. If he learns to make winning his priority. Not putting big numbers or letting everyone know he is around, OKC will be better for it. Until then, I pray OKC and Jazz kill themselves in 7 games. ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 8:01am On Apr 13, 2018 |
Eruditor:No okc will agree Westbrook is a chronic stat padder. They'll tell you he's either hard working than others or he just chases rebounds to lead a fast break. Like you said, I hope he takes winning as a priority. Do I really hope he does? Hell no ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 8:05am On Apr 13, 2018 |
Eruditor: It’s not true at all. He doesn’t want to have that role. He doesn’t really want to do those things. He is obsessed with winning basketball games. What he wanted to do was lead the guys in the locker room and be as good as he can possibly be. He spends more time on his body and getting himself mentally and physically right than any player I’ve ever seen. You lot need to cool it with your childish conspiracy theories. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 12:18pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
SmooshCHN:I'm not one of those OKC fans that will support my team even when i sense a wrong doing..When it comes to Russ,i'm not sure you criticize him more than i do.. Using the Memphis game as a case study(which i also used when i quoted Eruditor),you can make a strong case for stat padding which i might agree with you cos if he took less shots and assisted more(like in that game),we would have not struggled in most of our matches during the regular season. On the other hand, like i told Eruditor..he has the opportunity to create a record and do what no one else has done,so its only natural(not compulsory) for his teammates to let him get those rebounds and that was why i gave him a pass... |

MitrikDenholm:You typed Pistons. What a phoolishly confused errorist. Besides what does Pippen have to do with the GOAT outscoring Drexler by 23 points MitrikDenholm:I have shown you that two of Drexler's statistically worst games were games the GOAT put the clamps on Drexler. Specifically Game 1 You have switched from team to just one player. Keep spiralling into a tizzy. As if Pippen can make up for the production of the other 5 guys who scored in double digits. If Drexler wasn't destroyed by the GOAT maybe Portland would have stood a chance MitrikDenholm:Loool you're a hermit. What else would you do with yourself? MitrikDenholm:You're a victim so masochist fits a beta like you perfectly |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:11pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
MitrikDenholm:That version of the GOAT was a doctrine of necessity. He took the most shots but was still efficient. He shot at 42% which was solid for a 38 year old shooting guard you s€men slurpin sodomite MitrikDenholm:Can't help but to dig into the route cause of your buffoonery MitrikDenholm:But Isiah's shooting numbers actually went up from the previous year you obtuse donkey! His numbers didn't fall off a cliff like you're phoolishly trying to peddle MitrikDenholm:The point was you made another goof. Nobody said Orlando was not a good team you bipolar piece of shyte. MitrikDenholm:You could have said Boston Celtics and that would have been a lot more intelligent You listed the Big 3 without accounting for KG's absence (their best player) you lying son of Baal Your very existence is a mistake. Instead of acknowledging your goof you keep foaming at the mouth like an epileptic donkey and somersaulting around your stewpid argument like someone about to die from Magun. Like saying you beat the Showtime Lakers but Magic didn't play. That's how stewpid you sounded you obdurate donkey. MitrikDenholm:They were a two time defending Champion before the GOAT ended them. They were beaten on the court! They didn't hand over the crown you phool! It was a Coup d'etat so don't phuckin tell me what happened to the Pistons after that soul-crushing loss. I could care less if they caught meningitis MitrikDenholm:29/30 potato potatoe. Your desperation is pathetic. Stop being a straw grappling wasteman. You claimed they were old! In what planet is a 30 year old old? MitrikDenholm:In the playoffs! You brain dead coprophilliac. Isiah did not miss a game and only failed to start two!! Who was talking about him missing games? You have started hallucinating again You are so dim you don't know the difference between not starting and outrightly missing a game. Won ti fi opolo e se Ogun owo MitrikDenholm:Aren't you the obdurate bonobo monkey that didn't know Detroit made the playoffs the next year? MitrikDenholm:You're ret@rded if you think a veteran coach like Chuck Daly would have given extended minutes to a physical liability based on how deep Detroit was. MitrikDenholm:What quality? Show us Worthy's averages and let's see how much of a dip in quality existed you pathological liar. You phoolishly claimed he didn't play at all you pathetic schizophrenic MitrikDenholm: MitrikDenholm:No wonder you are already suffering from Alzheimer's at 19. Your abominable gene pool is the cause. You lying son of Beelzebub. Thought you said Worthy was out. MitrikDenholm:3.5? He played 31 minutes and this maricon is talking about 3.5 A possible Game 7? Did the series end in 7 games you shameless liar. He played 4 games leading the team in scoring yet hey lost 3 of them but this inbred ape is talking about the Lakers coming back from a deficit that had never been reversed. You're a crying disgrace! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:12pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
A40:My point exactly you nitwit! You were talking about drexler, I could have made the mistake of using pistons and you should have spotted that but instead you went along with it because you are a demented old man with goat cheese for brain who lost touch of his argument. Besides what does Pippen have to do with the GOAT outscoring Drexler by 23 pointsThat's the point jar jar Binks! It's more than just Jordan Vs drexler. Has to do with the whole teams contribution is what I'm trying to say. I never said drexler was better than Jordan mo Ron. And btw just saw an interview with drexler giving him due credit and saying he wanted the trail blazers to draft him though they chose not to because they had him. He said he believed they would have done great things. This whole re tarded narrative in your childish drama queen brain that he's salty needs to be deaded. You have switched from team to just one player. Keep spiralling into a tizzy. As if Pippen can make up for the production of the other 5 guys who scored in double digits. You friggin plonker. He alone can't but he can contribute sufficiently to bolster what the other players contribute. He alone could give you 20 a night in addition to his other talents. If Drexler wasn't destroyed by the GOAT maybe Portland would have stood a chanceStop changing the topic idgit. If drexler was destroyed by jordan, which he would have been regardless but drexler also had pippen on his side who could add to the table, drexlers team would win that series. Plain and simple. You'd think. Save you're a blind ignorant dumbas- who can't see sh it past his cum stained nose. Loool you're a hermit. What else would you do with yourself?Lol. It takes less than three minutes to reply you, like literally. Your arguments are basic and illogical it's easy to rip apart. You're a victim so masochist fits a beta like you perfectlyYou're still an idiot. |

Bilewu MitrikDenholm:Shut up you daft mountain goat. The whole team did what was expected of then. Clyde shriveled and let his team down, An alpha like the GOAT with a solid supporting cast Clyde had would have elevated the Bulls while the beta Drexler would have maintained his beta status if they swapped teams MitrikDenholm:Ohh STFU no one gives a shyte. The GOAT is his daddy period MitrikDenholm:Exactly phaggot but the Blazers had players who could drop 20 a night too. Out of 6 games how many did Clyde lead his team in scoring? This proves Clyde had lots of help so STFU and phuck off my mentions with your swine flu logic . MitrikDenholm:Immensely stewpid argument since you already agreed Pippen alone couldn't match the production of Portland's supporting cast You've failed to list the rest of that Bulls team so it means you know they were all bums MitrikDenholm:Roger that. Hermit The Frog MitrikDenholm:Ok Quasimodo we've heard you |

aliondo:Padding stats isn't even that serious sef.. My point is, he does this almost every game.. Stealing rebounds (in Melo's word) or fighting teammates for rebounds to just to have your personal accolade through the whole season is crazy Bruh.. If I was a Center, I'm also looking at my career, FA, my money Bruh Those stats matter when I hit the market. I can't be a Center and my PG is out rebounding me for his personal glory. For that last game, I definitely support him going for it. You can't be that close and let it go cos everyone is calling you a stat padder. You're actually guilty and all you need to say for making history is you always play your hearts out hence the triple doubles. When it comes to Russ I'm sure I criticize him more than you do. Just maybe. And BTW, I know why i said i hope he stays focused on those personal accomplishments cos I can't imagine Russ with Curry or LeBron IQ. There would be a problem. |
