I just remembered Arvydas Sabonis, that guy nearly took ROY from Damon after playing years in Serbian league grin

Okay, I admit the ambiguity seems unfair especially to those foreign players and NBA can do something about it. But I'm not making arguments for Teodosic or the foreign players but for Simmons who hasn't played for any professional sports team, EVER!!!! even if his rookie contract starts 1989.

Ben Simmons fits the same definition as Mitchell, having the same exposure; with Mitchell getting the offensive play built more around him. So, how did Simmons sitting out a year with a career ending injury an advantage for his case? These 2 have *played 82 games* in their professional careers, no one played more.

This table you're shaking has plenty awards on it: Sixth Man (where they sometimes start), MVP (the definition isn't used), DPOY and All NBA team. If NBA listened to Mitchell about ruling out players recovering from injuries, they better listen to us with these other awards they dash out.
Are you going to sit down there and tell me with a straight face that Ben did not enjoy any single advantage being in a professional team while Donovan was going to class and working to get Louisville into the NCAA before playing in the college basketball post season?

All I am saying is that we should stop making subjective interpretation of a definition that the NBA swears by to suit different player at different times. Li Angelo and La Melo may get drafted during the next draft after playing professional basketball in Lithuania, what happens if one of them explodes in the league, how would the NBA defend their rookie status based on the definition they are using?

Some folks ask why is this an issue now? My response is marketing..The NBA has not had an exceptional rookie class in a very long time. In-fact after the NBA drafted Blake, Kyrie and Dame in consecutive years (They also won rookie of the year respectively), the rookie class going forward have been horrible including the winners of the award. While Donovan may want the award, do you think he is responsible for exaggerating the situation? Naaa. Adidas has seen an opportunity to sell hoodies using Donovan's situation and they convinced Donovan to wear the sweater. Whats next? Nike will come up with their in defense of Simmons. That is why I am careful when I am arguing for or against any sports situation especially when it has to do with young ones.

The definition of the word "Rookie" and the interpretation in the NBA is illogical and that is what it is.

Leave Decale alone na. He's being politically correct about what the word Rookie is. Anyways, Ben Simmons wins the award, obviously. Guys like Mitchell can only take that as a motivation. The media loves the perfect story, the "process", the stats meanwhile uncle was there enjoying the NBA experience.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:37pm On Apr 12, 2018
Mamba Knows.

“Cleveland seems to be executing a more democratic style of offence,” Bryant said.

“I did a piece last year or a couple years ago, maybe last year, about the two kings system that the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing with, LeBron and Kyrie, and contrast that with Golden State’s democracy.

“If you watch Cleveland play now, they’re starting to play with a more democratic system.

“[You] see LeBron at the elbow at the top of the key being the Draymond Green of the Cavs, while the other players, whether it’s Jordan Clarkson or Kevin Love are running corner split games, playing a rip action, doing stuff on the weak side where they’re moving off the ball.

“That makes them infinitely more dangerous.”

The signs have been there. This whole regular season was an elaborate ruse. We knew in order to beat the west, we would need to deceive them. Now these bums won't know what hit them. Mark me, Cavs in Four!

Brodie deserves to be in the MVP conversation considering he has averaged triple doubles in consecutive seasons. After all what are Bron fans hinging his legitimacy on?

If Westbrook hears dying will make him an NBA legend I am certain he will try to die a thousand times. Baba no dey take stat-padding play.

Don't worry, in 15 years, many will ask why he did not win another MVP like they are doing for Oscar Robertson now.

Chris Paul has a son. When he is old and CP3 is a coach or an owner we would judge him then.

Viera was a well-known harsh talker until he started managing. Now he is humble and quick to defend failing managers.

Not stat padding per say..He just wants the ball more and he had the opportunity to do what no player had done before..though triple double may be over-rated sometimes...

CP3 is a core reason the Clippers failed during the assembly. He was undisciplined/ selfish and these behaviors were detrimental and contagious within the group. He always looked to assert himself, needs, and style of play ahead of the coaches tactics and that cost them some games in the postseason. You can see snippets of this indiscipline with the Rockets now as he has succeeded in exaggerating harmless situations into big fights.

This is his last shot at getting a ring and I hope he does not blow it too early in the first round with his lack of respect for others.

CP3 is so entitled. He acts cool and soft but underneath, he has attitudinal problems. I have always seen him that way: Like an elitist. Lebron is the same way as well even though they hide it.

You come to a team and start telling them who to fire and they pretend to the media like you had nothing to do with it. I even saw that documentary CP3 did and he is lucky Harden does not get petty because some other players would have felt some type of way.

CP3s friend was asking him his opinion on the 3teams courting him; Your Celtics, SAS and Rockets. He felt Pop will leave SAS soon. Suspected you guys would go for him only if Kyrie turned y’all down then when he was asked about Harden he said “He lives in the gym but he is the typical rich NBA guy”.

That is CP3 already feeling that Harden’s flashy lifestyle away from basket ball may rub off on him the wrong way.

I know they say it was love at first sight and what not but I guarantee they are one bad series a way from imploding. Or I guess I just Dey bad belle them.

Bros, your man is a chronic stat-padder.

I said it even after the GSW game if you remember. To me, he just zeros in on the trivial parts of the game. Things that won’t really really matter if we look at it critically.

If he learns to make winning his priority. Not putting big numbers or letting everyone know he is around, OKC will be better for it.

Until then, I pray OKC and Jazz kill themselves in 7 games. grin

No okc will agree Westbrook is a chronic stat padder. They'll tell you he's either hard working than others or he just chases rebounds to lead a fast break. Like you said, I hope he takes winning as a priority. Do I really hope he does? Hell no grin

It’s not true at all. He doesn’t want to have that role. He doesn’t really want to do those things. He is obsessed with winning basketball games. What he wanted to do was lead the guys in the locker room and be as good as he can possibly be. He spends more time on his body and getting himself mentally and physically right than any player I’ve ever seen.

The reason people perceive that is because he was on one-year deals, because he is the best player of his generation, and the natural assumption is they won’t do anything to upset him. So if they do that, he must want that. The reality is there were several things we did because it was the right thing to do. And certainly I would go to him and ‘Listen, this is why we’re going to do that.’ Just as I did with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.

“LeBron, nor his people, never came to me and said we want X, Y, Z about any player, least of all Kyrie,” Griffin said. “
You lot need to cool it with your childish conspiracy theories.

LOL I am legit starting to think this frog has brain damage, you brought up game 1 you stupid ninny! cheesy
You typed Pistons. What a phoolishly confused errorist.

Besides what does Pippen have to do with the GOAT outscoring Drexler by 23 points

MitrikDenholm:
LOL! Jordan took on drexler with pippen on his side, for shame. what a bully. If jordan didnt have a hall of famer by his side itd be a fair fight.
I have shown you that two of Drexler's statistically worst games were games the GOAT put the clamps on Drexler. Specifically Game 1

You have switched from team to just one player. Keep spiralling into a tizzy. As if Pippen can make up for the production of the other 5 guys who scored in double digits.

If Drexler wasn't destroyed by the GOAT maybe Portland would have stood a chance

MitrikDenholm:
i Respond in record time because its easy to respond to a bumbling idiot like you. Light work small fry.
Loool you're a hermit. What else would you do with yourself?

That version of jordan was pathetic and anyone who brings him up to give him credit is an utter numskull, i think we've already established that you are so no surprise.
That version of the GOAT was a doctrine of necessity. He took the most shots but was still efficient. He shot at 42% which was solid for a 38 year old shooting guard you s€men slurpin sodomite

MitrikDenholm:
LOL The ape talking about genes again. cheesy
Can't help but to dig into the route cause of your buffoonery

MitrikDenholm:
Thats the point you stupid dog, the minutes you play does not reflect on the quality you possess. Why wont this stupid ape understand a concept as simple as this one.
But Isiah's shooting numbers actually went up from the previous year you obtuse donkey! His numbers didn't fall off a cliff like you're phoolishly trying to peddle

MitrikDenholm:
LMAO! keep dodging the point of the argument, if only you could dodge jeffreys semen the same way. The orlando magic were formidable, plan and simple.Debate jeffreys anus from here on you friggin poo pusher.
The point was you made another goof. Nobody said Orlando was not a good team you bipolar piece of shyte.

MitrikDenholm:
I called them big 3 celtics, i would assume anyone who knows the NBA should know what it implies. I guess my mistake was assuming you knew anything about the NBA and apparently you dont know sh it. All you do is pull re tarded hay makers out of your filthy ape bum and throw it about like a true ape would.
You could have said Boston Celtics and that would have been a lot more intelligent

You listed the Big 3 without accounting for KG's absence (their best player) you lying son of Baal

Your very existence is a mistake. Instead of acknowledging your goof you keep foaming at the mouth like an epileptic donkey and somersaulting around your stewpid argument like someone about to die from Magun.

Like saying you beat the Showtime Lakers but Magic didn't play. That's how stewpid you sounded you obdurate donkey.

MitrikDenholm:
Isnt this what i've been saying you confused dumb a'ss!
They were a two time defending Champion before the GOAT ended them. They were beaten on the court! They didn't hand over the crown you phool! It was a Coup d'etat so don't phuckin tell me what happened to the Pistons after that soul-crushing loss. I could care less if they caught meningitis

MitrikDenholm:
LOL! What is this ape saying? please, was isaiah thomas 29 or 30 when he faced the bulls? did you lie about it because you're a dimwitted weasel? positive. Then FOH with your stupid 5 cent excuses.
29/30 potato potatoe. Your desperation is pathetic. Stop being a straw grappling wasteman. You claimed they were old! In what planet is a 30 year old old?

MitrikDenholm:
LMAO You said he missed only two games and now you're back tracking. You truly are a jester. Pinhead, my argument has always been his injury was the beginning of his decline
In the playoffs! You brain dead coprophilliac. Isiah did not miss a game and only failed to start two!! Who was talking about him missing games? You have started hallucinating again

You are so dim you don't know the difference between not starting and outrightly missing a game. Won ti fi opolo e se Ogun owo

Aren't you the obdurate bonobo monkey that didn't know Detroit made the playoffs the next year?

havent told a single lie, this dummy has been caught in a dozen and hes accusing me of lying. Your misdirection wont work nitwit.

[quote author=MitrikDenholm post=66622523]again this idiot equating minutes with quality. You are hopeless.
You're ret@rded if you think a veteran coach like Chuck Daly would have given extended minutes to a physical liability based on how deep Detroit was.

MitrikDenholm:
again this idiot equating minutes with quality. You are hopeless.
What quality? Show us Worthy's averages and let's see how much of a dip in quality existed you pathological liar. You phoolishly claimed he didn't play at all you pathetic schizophrenic

MitrikDenholm:
Worthy suffered a high ankle sprain in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Blazers and was very limited heading into the Finals against the Bulls. Despite LA pulling out a Game 1 victory in Chicago, it ultimately wasn't enough against a hot Chicago Bulls squad led by Michael Jordan. The Lakers fell in five games. Worthy sat out Game 5 after re-injuring the ankle in Game 4.

Just so everyone can see how much of a shameless lying sack of sh it you are.
MitrikDenholm:
Dum dum, did he face them all on the same team? the best he faced was stockton and malone and how are they supposed to beat jordan and pippen with the supporting cast they had again? LMAO! And stop it, your goat never beat worthy and magic because worthy was out in 1991.
No wonder you are already suffering from Alzheimer's at 19. Your abominable gene pool is the cause.

You lying son of Beelzebub. Thought you said Worthy was out.
MitrikDenholm:
4 (3.5) out of a possible 7 is 80% in your village? who said it will have ended the same way if he appeared fully healthy in all four priori and apriori? again this mo ron keeps shamelessly accusing me of lying while i keep exposing him cheesy
3.5? He played 31 minutes and this maricon is talking about 3.5

A possible Game 7? Did the series end in 7 games you shameless liar. He played 4 games leading the team in scoring yet hey lost 3 of them but this inbred ape is talking about the Lakers coming back from a deficit that had never been reversed. You're a crying disgrace!

That's the point jar jar Binks! It's more than just Jordan Vs drexler. Has to do with the whole teams contribution is what I'm trying to say. I never said drexler was better than Jordan mo Ron.

Padding stats isn't even that serious sef..
My point is, he does this almost every game.. Stealing rebounds (in Melo's word) or fighting teammates for rebounds to just to have your personal accolade through the whole season is crazy Bruh.. If I was a Center, I'm also looking at my career, FA, my money Bruh cheesy Those stats matter when I hit the market. I can't be a Center and my PG is out rebounding me for his personal glory. For that last game, I definitely support him going for it. You can't be that close and let it go cos everyone is calling you a stat padder. You're actually guilty and all you need to say for making history is you always play your hearts out hence the triple doubles. When it comes to Russ I'm sure I criticize him more than you do. Just maybe. And BTW, I know why i said i hope he stays focused on those personal accomplishments cos I can't imagine Russ with Curry or LeBron IQ. There would be a problem.

Can't help but to dig into the route cause of your buffoonery
you're an ape. you're in no position to talk about genes.

But Isiah's shooting numbers actually went up from the previous year you obtuse donkey! His numbers didn't fall off a cliff like you're phoolishly trying to peddle
did d roses numbers fall off a cliff? is d rose the same player he was? imagine this gay got! lmao! shooting numbers.

The point was you made another goof. Nobody said Orlando was not a good team you bipolar piece of shyte.
Ahh yeah you did, you claimed they werent good because you falsely claimed their second best player was turkoglu! LOL! Dum dum forgetting his lines again! classic a40 cheesy

Why should i have to point that out? you should know shouldnt you since you claim to know basketball (lol). and seriously you barmy wazzock!, i take my time to use words fitting of your epic levels of stupidity and inferiority, stop throwing them back at me you friggin dog! it hurts!

Like saying you beat the Showtime Lakers but Magic didn't play. That's how stewpid you sounded you obdurate donkey.
LMAO! When did i ever claim magic didnt play? demented old fool! Not that aids magic was magic, nonetheless i never claimed he didnt play.

They were a two time defending Champion before the GOAT ended them. They were beaten on the court! They didn't hand over the crown you phool! It was a Coup d'etat so don't phuckin tell me what happened to the Pistons after that soul-crushing loss. I could care less if they caught meningitis

29/30 potato potatoe. Your desperation is pathetic. Stop being a straw grappling wasteman. You claimed they were old! In what planet is a 30 year old old?
I just hate friggin shameless liars! easy to stage a coup against an ailing general with injury issues. and what about pippens contribution and the rest of the bulls to that series? bulls beat the pistons, not jordan you hairless ape!

In the playoffs! You brain dead coprophilliac. Isiah did not miss a game and only failed to start two!! Who was talking about him missing games? You have started hallucinating again
so that negates the fact he missed about half of the regular in your friggin stupid skull. Thats what your tiny brain is telling you? cheesy

You are so dim you don't know the difference between not starting and outrightly missing a game. Won ti fi opolo e se Ogun owo

Aren't you the obdurate bonobo monkey that didn't know Detroit made the playoffs the next year?
they lost to ewing and couldnt make the playoffs the year after, does that make them any less pathetic you friggin im becile?

A40:
Aren't you the younger one? Isn't your brain supposed to be sharper you stewpid errorista. Mistakes come naturally to you that's why you would confuse Pistons for Blazers. Bilewu
Ahh maybe because we were also discussing the pistons as well you friggin mo ron! and stupidity comes naturally to you, thats why you missed the plot and went on a wild goose hunt. And yes, my brain is indeed sharper, thank you for noticing!

Shut up you daft mountain goat. The whole team did what was expected of then. Clyde shriveled and let his team down, An alpha like the GOAT with a solid supporting cast Clyde had would have elevated the Bulls while the beta Drexler would have maintained his beta status if they swapped teams
LOL And what was expected of them? what was their regular season record against each other you clown?

Ohh STFU no one gives a shyte. The GOAT is his daddy period
Noo, hes your daddy you friggin shi t stabber!

Exactly phaggot but the Blazers had players who could drop 20 a night too. Out of 6 games how many did Clyde lead his team in scoring? This proves Clyde had lots of help so STFU and phuck off my mentions with your swine flu logic .
what did those players average and what did pippen average you friggin bum!

Immensely stewpid argument since you already agreed Pippen alone couldn't match the production of Portland's supporting cast

You've failed to list the rest of that Bulls team so it means you know they were all bums
LMAO My point remains if drexer had a hall of famer or a pippen on his side hed beat that bald chicken black and blue!

Roger that. Hermit The Frog

Ok Quasimodo we've heard you
From now on you shall refer to me as "my lord", because it has become obvious that i own you! bow to me you friggin ninny!

svck your mum you tiny cross dressing sack of shi t! He spoke about efficiency! isnt jordans whole game based on his mid range and post moves? does dirk dwell in the post or is he also an efficient shooter? the fact that your fellow idiot school alumnus brought up washington jordan just proves what ive been saying about you lot! clueless dimwits the lot of you!
