A businessman identified as Nnamdi Obijiaku was killed by unknown gunmen in Okigwe area of Imo state. According to reports, the deceased was murdered in cold blood by men of the underworld while returning home.

He was said to have been rushed to the Federal medical center in Umuahia, Abia state after the attack - due to the 'unavailability' of good hospitals in Okigwe area.

He finally gave up the ghost on reaching the hospital in Abia. His death is coming months after his wedding in Imo state.

He is set to be buried today at his hometown in Okigwe. May his soul rest in peace.
