Donlittle:
what are you talking about?

Why should that matter?

Harden won 55 games in the western conference with Eric Gordon as his second best players while Lebron won 51 games with kyrie as his second best player.

What is to stop harden from winning 58 this year without cp3?
Sigh. It's like talking to a brick wall.

If cp3 leaves, it is safe to assume Harden wins 55 games like he did last year without cp3 right?

So what kind of comparison are you making?

Thats 5 games more than lebron not 15. Number of wins will not be an argument. And 50 wins even with the horrible stretch the cavs had after losing to gsw and everything that happened before and after that? thats friggin amazing! Hardens narrative has been built all season because his team kept winning, that narrative wouldnt have gained as much momentum for a 55 win team, now the argument is the win gap is far too wide. I want harden to get the mvp because hes been robbed twice (sympathy plays another role), but you should understand what the other argument here is.

The Flyers came into game 2 with one objective. Avoid the mistakes of game one which by avoiding penalties and when you concede one, kill every penalty and that is what they did impressively.

Tonight's result is not shocking to me because this is what happened last season. When the Penguins lose games, they lose heavily and when they win, they win heavily. Brain Elliott was impressive on the night, he stopped Crosby on consecutive one on ones and made some terrific saves for the Flyers.

This series heads to Philly for game 3 and it becomes tricky especially with Murray historically conceding copious amounts of goals when the Penguins lose games.
We just couldn't finish. It's the complacency that comes with heavy wins. Each time we won heavily last year the next game almost always ended in defeat

Our road record in the regular season was nauseating but I still think we can still 1 game in Philly. I won't doubt a Murray who kept 3 straight shutouts before last night. These types of games happen. We were really poor at blocking shots

40's playoff picks

East:
Raptors vs Wizards: With Wall back and the Raptors average finish to the season you have to feel the Wizards have a shot. Plus I don't know why I just don't trust DeRozan yet.

However the Wizards just strike me as a team that lacks discipline. While the Raptors might lose their customary game 1 I still think they would do it in 6. Raptors in 6

Celtics vs Bucks: Unbelievable job by Stevens..Easily coach of the year for me because what the Celts have been able to do missing literally half their team at some points is unreal. I would have gone for a first round upset because there is only so much a team can do when missing it's best two players and arguably their best defender on the perimeter but I know better to write off Boston in this series especially against a Bucks team that lacks defensive discipline despite their length and outside shooting as well. Giannis would beast though and that's why I'd back the Bucks to take it to Game 7 but ultimately fall short

Sixers vs Raptors: I just dey look forward to the Embiid and Whiteside battle. The Heat are a unique problem because you can't zero in on any player and say this is who you need to shut down. I think the absence of Embiid would determine how long the series goes for. Also Fultz can be an X-Factor! The boy has not scratched his potential yet. I'd also like to see how Ben Simmons performs with his busted shooting

Ultimately I think Philly would be too deep for the Heat. Philly in 6.

Cavs vs Pacers: Dangerous match up for Cleveland. Definitely don't see the Cavs sweeping it like last year. They aren't just as good. However I don't know anyone in Indy that can slow down Lebron so the key for Indy would be to shutting down the role players like Hood. Clarkson. Nance. Hill etc. Oladipo would also have to show he is legit! It would be a fight as the Pacers have a very solid bench. Still I think the star power of Love and Lebron would ultimately outscore Indy as neither team are built on defense. Cavs in 6

It’s easier to win 50 games than it is to win 65.

Why the heck should Harden win 65 games without a legit sidekick?

Lebron has had legit side kick for how long and correct me if I am wrong, but has he won over 65 games more than once in his career?

Yes? No?

So flip the table, would Lebron be able to win 65 games if his side kick leaves?

It is safe to say no, so why should that stupid standards be held towards Harden to make an argument?

Yes. LeBron has one 65+ more than once in his career.

But you're still not understanding what the value in MVP wins. How much of that 65 wins is down to harden alone? How many games has he missed? How many have they won without him? MVP means most valuable player. Not player with most wins.

lebron has one or do you mean lebron has won?

If he has won more than once in his career, then i guess Nba is wrong

Since 2004, only two teams have won about 65 games in the Eastern Conference. The Miami heat and the Boston Celtics

Miami did it in 2012, and Boston did it in 2008.

Last year, Bron had kyrie, Love and still couldn't win 55 games, but go on.

James harden played 72 games and missed 10.

for the sake of this argument, let us say they won 8 games without him. I am trying to be nice here, 8 is far fetched but we will go with it.

65 - 8 = 57.

So they won 57 games with james harden in the lineup. 7 games more than cleveland won with lebron in the lineup who played 82 games. 7.

By the way, Chris paul did not play up to 60 games this year.

So please tell me, how is lebron more valuable to his team than harden?

Rockets vs Timberwolves. I think Jimmy Butler's return gives the Wolves a shot to make this series a lot tougher than it would ordinarily have been so a sweep is unlikely IMO. Harden might also not get those calls he gets during the regular season plus they would also be missing Mbah a Moute their best defender for the series. I'm leaning towards the Rockets but in 6 at the very least

Warriors vs Spurs. No Kawhi no Steph. Ojoro cancel! The Warriors have looked like a very unserious outfit these last few weeks and I don't know if there's a switch they can just hit for things to return to normal. Still the Spurs for me don't have enough to topple Golden State. That load go too much for Lamarcus Aldridge. Warriors in 6

Pelicans vs Blazers. The Blazers are another beast at home. I don't know how they do it but with the Pelicans over reliance on Anthony Davis (prone to injuries) I just wonder if they can survive Portland. Guys like Mirotic and Jrue Holiday would need to step up big time and I think they can. I'd go against popular sentiment and pick the Pels here. Pelicans in 7

OKC vs Utah. This is the match up of the first round for me. Gobert vs Adams should be fun to watch. I think Donovan Mitchell's lack of experience might show here. Especially if Paul George decides to guard him. I expect angry Russ to tear Rubio to shreds and OKC's post season experience to show here. OKC in 5
