700-850 should be fair. That's 2003-04/5 Rav4.... Can't pinpoint exact year Minimum 700k if it's distress sale... Maximum 900k... Otherwise, go buy tokunbo Bakayokoko, no joke with 4WD o. I've been in a Hilux struck road construction laterite mud and i tell you, the driver just engaged the 4WD gear and the truck flew out if the mud over the slippery road till we were on good road. Another Nissan Altima with front wheel drive got stuck in a small hole after flood. Simple reverse on all four wheels would have gotten the car out but only the front wheels were spinning so car wouldn't move. Had to call boys to help push it out of the hole. 4WD on naija roads is necessity 7 Likes 1 Share |

bakayokoko: bakayokoko: you never mentioned the state of the car... The price tag of a Nigerian used car is affected by possible repair costs to put it in perfect shape. E.g I bought a 2008 kia cerato for 500k last month, I replaced the engine for 600k, suspension 50k a/c 90k. 4 Likes |

I laughed out loud when you reported that the car is in a very good condition.... This is one thing you can't tell, so my advise is, discuss with Gazzuzz privately to negotiate the cost of inspecting this particular car for you. I am hoping that you are in Lagos but if in Abuja, Kingreign is your man. 5 Likes 1 Share |

oweniwe: Buy & drive does not mean problem free..might be buy & drive to Mechanic If shocks are bad.. Its still buy & drive.. Leaking windshield is :buy & drive Suspension noise :buy & drive Worned out tires : buy & drive Body work : buy & drive Even bad air-conditioning system is still buy & drive.. In Nigerian context as long as a car starts & moves.. Its buy & drive 31 Likes 3 Shares |

Mileage of cerato is under 100k km Elantra is 172,000miles

GAZZUZZ:Hummmm. But the elantra will still serve for a long time before some parts start failing. That cerato must have been through hell before the engine failed. Theres no guarantee another part might not break again soon. Because a car with a dead engine must have seen evil things and abuse. If i were to choose. I'd still pick the toks elantra even if it needs little work. I fear 9ja used 4 Likes |

An honest 2002/2003 Toyota Rav4 will be approximately N2m delivered to TinCan, clearing is additional. I can certainly now see why shyster dealers are humping salvaged/non repairable titled cars to Nigerians. Eberu Olorun. 1 Like |

To meet the desired price point o most Nigerians, any car leaving the US should be valued at around $1,000-$1,200. Adding the cost of shipping and duty ends up at ~N1m which means you paid more as duty than you make as profit. A flooded car will be newer at that price and those are basically sold as scrap, or for parts |
