Rondo too with 17 assists...I have noticed that rondo always shows up in playoffs

Rondo is and has always been a great point guard. He fits the Pelicans system perfectly and knows so much plays that the coach does not have to bother much about him coordinating plays.

I hope he considers coaching after he retires.

Most PG would have lost their cool when Portland rallied to cut the lead significantly.

They lost their cool. That game was 93-92 in Pelicans Flavour with 59 seconds to go with the ball in Dame’s hands.

St.upid guy decides to buy a foul instead of shoot for an easy deuce when he was just 10ft away from the rim. The refs don’t oblige.

Then they had 2 possessions again after AD makes 2FTs and the score is 95-92 for Dame to shoot a 3 but they opt for a layup that is well guarded by Jrue Holiday.

I am not sold on NOPs yet. They deserved to win but they made more contested shots than Blazers who kept missing wide open shots.

My basket ball senses tell me the odds favor the team that keeps shooting uncontested shots.

Not taking anything away from Rondo who was the floor general yesterday but in the final moments he tried to make some ill-adviced layups that got blocked.

This is in reference to yesterday game... portland vs pelicans.

I have never seen a situation where a quick two worked before. I will always choose a quick three anytime of the day and live with it.
