Willing buyer meets willing seller, assuming that your tribal label is true.
Meanwhile, is there no government in Kano state to deal with the codeine dealers if they consider it a problem? Perhaps they don’t see it as a problem, otherwise with all the federal allocation that they receive monthly, from oil revenues and alcohol VAT, they can easily resolve the issue. What do you think
I think the ibos should go into more legitimate business and be law abiding citizens

Maybe there is no law in Kano state against what they are doing. If there is, why has the state governors not arrested and charged them to court? Do you know why the state government has never done that

Impressive. Nowhere in Southeast or South-south or North Central or North East or Southwest(besides Lagos) is up to this standard in road infrastructure courtesy State government. Kano is rich and has been producing ambitious Governors.
You can't compare Kano with Akwa Ibom or Rivers State.

Go to the area in the afternoon, you will be surprised how comes the night pictures.

I live in Rijiyar Zaki, opposite Musa Illiyasu College.

Kano is trying on their on way, but you can never compare it with Rivers state.

Besides, the picture is highly over exaggerated.

If you live in the area I think you have first hand information how kano is, you can compare Kano with any state in Nigeria in terms of infrastructure

Are they shared monthly in Abuja like the federation account also or they are bought by southerners?
How much taxes do the farmers of these agricultural products pay into the federation account? What % of the federation account does it represent
Are you sure that you know what you are talking about?

I should be asking you if you know what you are talking about, not the other way round.

You asked how much in % Agric contributes to the GDP and I thought it was objective. How can the same you ask if that constitutes what is shared from the Federation Account monthly?

I would leave the Mining sector contributions to the GDP and stick to your question. Agric contributes over 24% to the GDP and accounts for more than 70% of the jobs in the Nigerian economy. The manufacturing sector depends hugely on the Agric sector more than any other sector for raw materials, therefore making it a major offshoot of the Agric sector. Of what use is an economy without jobs? What percentage of jobs does the oil / gas sector contribute?

In case you don't know the power of Agric, let me give you a little stat. The Netherlands made about $90billion dollars last year exporting meat, vegetables, flowers, diary and eggs etc, which is significantly more than what Nigeria earned from crude oil - almost three times what Nigeria earned.

The abandonment of the Agric sector in Nigeria is chiefly responsible for most of the socioeconomic situations that we face today ranging from unemployment to economic instability and rising insecurity.

this is how people will just start spineless tribalistic talks on a post that's meant to showcase a state infrastructures.

And back to your comparison, leave Kano state and go to other states and see what they have. sitting in Kano and claiming the most developed is just laughable
