picked up the phone today,so sexy,I'm so glad I didn't buy the snap450 version,that would have been too small. It seems the phone only has one notification light unlike redmi note 3 o

That notification ish is one reason am not even moved to replace my note 4x. The new aspect ratio is really cool in terns of portability.

Me sef weak, I know of somebody wen nr gree buy the Redmi 4x last year because of this alone, something wen ordinary Redmi 4a get and even old Redmi 2, smh.

the miui version is "miui global 9.2|stable
9.2.6.0.0(NEGMIEK)

Any help on how i can get an original ROM on my device

First confirm if you bootloader is unlocked. Settings - About phone - tap miui version like 7 times to enable developer options. Then go back to settings - Additional settings - Developer options - Mi unlock status.
