greatman247:Well, even though I dont for once like to get entangled in this kind of talks, I just need you to know just one point that had been kept off from many of you, and why it doesn't matter how much people try to pull the church rccg down, it only continue to grow stronger daily. Pastor EA Adeboye is not a lazy man that will sit to feed on church money. So all the offerings, tithe or other money you're wondering where they do go to ends up here: RCCG nigeria has over 5,000 administrative staff including drivers and cleaners with the least earning 30k per month. RCCG has over 2000 full time pastors and missionaries with the least earning 60k basic salary and with other allowances running to 150k/month the least. 3 of their children are liable to scholarships from prumary school to university level. Other things are involved in the money that goes to the rccg HQ but that is the basic. Now try do your calculation and see how many people are praying to God for the church to be blessed so they can have food on their tables and also have a take home pay. I guess same must be applied to Winners and co. Please be kindly polite in your mention even if it's going to be insult, try to be polite with it. Christians brought themselves to this level by discussing their issues on social media where no man regards God but still need Him to help them. If only the pastor you're going to for spiritual help knows what you're writing online, I know he wont even waste his time praying. |

tim26will:Well the mention isn't for you but you jumped into discussion that does not even concern you and by the way, you still don't get my point. I careless where the offerings goes to ok, that wasn't my question to the owner of the mention. I never asked where the offering goes, that isn't my business. They said they are too money conscious and they proof it by taking many offerings which is not suppose to be. My issue with them is how come they take too much offerings. What is the justification for that? And they act like business ventures. And what right did the Pastor has to determine who goes to Heaven or not if anyone does not pay tithe? Is he the God now? Or cos a video shows where he said all these things so don't try to deny. I talked about a lot expecting him to address and he didn't probably because he couldn't and you just jumped into the discussion and you even failed to address those issues. You only talked about where offering goes and people on rccg payroll. I careless about all that ok. Rccg is not the biggest church in the world. Churches in abroad have a lot of persons on their payroll too and yet they don't take so much offerings like I have witness times without number in RCCG. To mention read through all the valid points I have raised in my previous mention to him and then cone back with valid point in my mention before you talk. Note: ensure you read through everything in my previous mention to him before you come back to my mention and then come with valid points to address them and not just beat about the Bush. And again I am not trying to pull down RCCG, this is what they do, and I even attend the church and have proven evidence. So know what you want to say before you say them. |

greatman247:Adeboye is NOT your pastor, and RCCG is not your church, so why are you developing high blood pressure over their matter, and taking panadol for their headache? |
| Re: Pastor Victor Wellington's Resignation From RCCG: Church Member, Worker Reacts by tim26will: 10:00am On Apr 19, 2018 |
greatman247:See my brother, if their way of operations or worship is not suitable for you, leave them and take your mind off their ways. If he says non tither believers will not make heaven, I believe he's talking to those of Christ followers through him, if you re not part of them, why givingg yourself headache. Atleast no one has gone to this heaven and return to tell us what is true or not, so follow your bible if you ever read. But why they collect so much offerings or justification for the offerings should not be your concern, let those giving it and feel concern about it go to their pastors and ask them. If they feel satisfy, they give, and if not, they just go to church, pray, say amen, shout Hallelujah and go home, nobody can arrest or accuse them for not paying or giving offerings. |

laudate:When members like you lack valid points to back illegality going on in your church up you result into this kind of comment. Common thing I expect you guys to prove me wrong and yet you reduced yourself to this level. A video of your pastor who is too money conscious as they claimed, where he indicates, if you are not paying tithe you are not going to Heaven, you lack valid point to prove otherwise instead you said since I have decided he is not God's PA. Not me, its the video where he appeared. Abi dem tell you say na me put up the video or i fodge the video? Na wa for you. Prove the video wrong simple and stop going about the Bush trying to say what is wrong is right about your pastor, your version of God. |

greatman247:Nobody is interested in proving you right or wrong. Obviously, you get a high from wallowing in illogical arguments, instead of using sensible explanations to improve the lives of others. Here, have the floor. Feel free to reduce yourself to a laughing stock by doing what you know best. ![]() |

Faith is bad because it promotes the mindset that one is right no matter the facts you present to them. That's why gullible Christians will continue to defend crooks parading as servants of god. |

Dongreat:I know...I know...but ridiculing the Church or the Pastor is not the way to get your money. If you petition the higher ups and nothing is done then at least you know you did your best in trying to settle things amicably... You might be thinking of towing your decision but things might get dirty and be full of regrets |

tim26will:God bless you sir. I didnt want to write on all these earlier, so as not to be blowing our own trumphets. Baba Adeboye does not sign cheques of tithes that comes in. The gifts he recieves on his birthday alone can sustain him and family for two years. This is a man that pours everything he has into God's projects all over the world. Lets I forget the RCCG feeds atleast 2 million on a Sunday basis in Nigeria. Those who throw stones should first check if their neighbours are still in the market. |

Aceed:Nothing to regret here. The land was bought with money gotten from days of hard honest work. I don’t need a faith seller to delay in payment when I know he has members ready to pay physical cash to receive reward from heaven. RCCG is just a business empire to me and many before it, it’s not untouchable. |

greatman247:Oga RCCG is not your Church sir, it is our, everything that happens there in is purely a family affair. If you are not comfortable as a member you can opt out; it is not a cult; free entry and free exit. |

predatorX:I carefully read all what U said about ur plight as a RCCG member and i feel bitter that some "respected" ministers of the gospel have turned the body of christ to a business entity.....Its so unfortunate! Just imagine what the volume of cash used in the purchase, fueling and maintenance of the private jet would have done for most of these struggling parishes that cant even pay 60k rent per year..... Its really worrying and disturbing.... Right now am shocked by what am reading..... |

Toptipster:Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. See money is needed in the Church, as a matter of fact, it is one of the benefits of seeking God first 1 Timothy 6:10 - For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. It's the love of money that needs to be removed not money. LET US ALL BEGIN TO LOVE GOD AND NOT LOVE MONEY AND OTHER EVILS...THE WILL OF GOD WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IN HEAVEN. |

laudate:What other explanation is more logical than a video. You just beat about the Bush. You should have give me a valid point to counter my claim of the video of your pastor. I can't reduce myself to laughing stock but your pastor whose integrity is on the line will. He has everything to protect but he just turned himself to laughing stock and his integrity is questionable. If he happens to live in countries like UK or US he would have been called for questioning by the authority by now. But in a country like Nigeria, thieves are respected and regarded. |

Dongreat:James 4 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? 13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. |

tim26will:I hate it when believers lies. a full time pastor in RCCG earned 15,000 while a part time pastor take home 5,000 monthly. am a witness. if not the love I have for this church and given to the fact that I was lend to the church by the Holy Spirit, I should have left long ago. What we are saying is that the church should mend its ways. money doesn't buy salvation. |

Venica:It's always better to keep quiet if you do not understand things than make comments that might land you in hell. I wonder which of the gods led you to rccg but im very sure it's not the same Holy Spirit I know. Parish pastors either part time or full time have a provision of 5k as stipends to load their phones to make calls to members or as may dim fit, while Area pastors have 10k either full time or otherwise and same to Zonal pastors who are on 15k. These are stipends which has nothing to do with the salary whatsoever. The stipends is statutory depending on your parish, which as the truth of the matter, no pastor do remember to take it. So where you get yours from, I think my best advice for you is to relocate immediately. Rccg is not a do or die affair church. |

tim26will:see who is talking about hell. Are u God? my current parish pastor earned 15k monthly as full time pastor. what are u telling me? many of u sits in air-condition office without checking out on those huts planted everywhere in the name of let's go a fishing. leaving the real genuine pastor and members to suffer. as I type this, i am just recovering from an illness that lasted almost two weeks. my pastor was unable to check on me once through call because he can't afford the transportation which I underground. you are telling me its 60k, continue |

Venica:oga stop saying cowshit. Parish pastors are far paid than that. All those low figures you are quoating are just stipends or bonuses. A provincial pastor earns well close to 200k and may be entitled to one free SUV if certain conditions are met. I've been attending rccg for more than 15 years now but i must confess there are so many flaws in that church. Even winners better pass them. But one fact I keep telling people is that the fault isnt from the G.O but from those head pastors. |

HitlerGaddafi:I did not want to say any more about this before. l agreed the fault are not from Daddy G O. but the head pastors. what am telling u is true just say u are not aware. I will advice u to investigate it if u can. this parish is under Edo Providence 7 but was later transferred to prov 10 .if u want to know the truth chat me privately, I can give u the details. peace |
