Okay, we've been dating for a year now. And so far everything is going well and we have no issues at all. We plan on get married this year, no fixed dates yet but we are working towards it. We are both burn on January. On 9th January, she was with me at home and that day was my birthday, even though I'm not the type that celebrate birthdays I really appreciate gifts from anyone no matter how small I don't care. The drama started when I noticed she forgot that day was my birthday, I was getting calls from friends and family wishing me happy birthday but she didn't say anything. Not until it was evening when my Lil brother called and she over heard him saying "happy birthday bro" then she started saying she's sorry that she forgot my birthday and I couldn't just believe it. I was soo angry, and I just can't forget it even though I have forgiven her. But I never got any gift at all from her, her excuse is that she has no money. I spent over 200k last December on shopping and other stuff and most of it was spent on her and my mom. Now she's back to school, and expecting me to take care of her as usual. Her birthday is coming up on 31st of January , and I keep remembering it every single day, I really want to forget her birthday too but I can't. This little issue is causing me heart breaks inside, so many things are going on through my mind as how someone who cares about me so much can forget an important day of my life. Why are ladies like this? You want us to care for you, love you, respect you and provide for you. But when we do you take us for granted. The only way I might probably forget the whole thing is to pretend I forgot her own birthday too but, I'm just confused right now.
