These people can come and say Nigerians are lazy but they can celebrate Anthony Joshua. Ask me what would have become of him if he grew up in Nigeria. Give Nigerian youths a good environment and see what we can do. Anyway how can the president know what Nigerian youths go thru when he has not traveled on the street of Lagos |

rusher14:Are those viles you mentioned peculiar just to the Nigerian youth? There's no prostitution, drug abuse and other societal viles outside the shores of this country? How can you even try to rationalize such a blatant and brazen blasphemy against the Nigerian youth? I can forgive him if the only youths he comes across in his life are the Northern youths which fits perfectly into what he describes, but to generalize the entire Nigerian youth into such a sick statement is a blasphemy. Let us even deliberate on the education part. Statistics from JAMB shows that over 6mil youths applied to write UME this year out of which there are only 300,00 spaces for them. A horde of uneducated youths will not be seeking admission into higher institution. There is no basis to try and rationalize his statement; none at all. |

Omooba77:this is what we are talking about, our youth are lazy, most of them still rigmarole in the street, thinking of one crime and another they want to engage themselves. Instead of to be doing something, they want to make it big overnight without working for it . Insulting buhari every minutes for not given them free money like before. Maybe the message is for Niger delta militant and idiotic pigs of Biafra |

A hopeless statement. Nothing works in Nigeria. Is that also the fault of the Youth. When graduates will come out no job, no light, no health care system, nothing virtually works in Nigeria. Why wont the stupid man say so. What has he put in place for the Youth. Youth will struggle and struggle and die as a Youth, while the fools of 70s keep holding positions of authority tight. So tell me the avenue for the Youth to work and exhibit their potentials. Why do the Nigerian Youths succeed and shine immediately they step out of the shore of this country. Stupid statement from a hopeless entity. This fools keeps disgracing Nigerians at any slighted opportunity he has. His son that crashed with almost 5million naira power bike, where is he working and how much is his salary per month, if actually he is engaged in any meaningful work. Lazy fools. |

rusher14:You made a few points sir, but everyone cannot become programmers, I'm into programming even though I didn't study computer science in school, not because I didn't want to but admission issues and pressure made me look elsewhere cos time was going, I learnt all I know in web development today through online tutorials and videos. What I'm driving at is Nigerian Youths (majority as said by the president) aren't lazy, it's circumstances that made some of us result to vices et al. What we need are very few highly innovative minds to help improve our current status as a country and our educational system has a major role to play in that aspect. Not everyone will be like some of us that self educate ourselves. Quality education is very paramount to development of any nation and sadly we lack that here. The youths can do very little in reforming the education sector. |

rusher14:I was with you and your position till you decided to engage that nitwit. This is a nitwit who decided to defend RCCG with the dullest excuse about land belonging to RCCG. Please no harm meant but I think you won't get anywhere jaw-jacking with that fellow. Please stick to your position. You have very valid points. Please learn to avoid people who won't use metrics and facts to argue, instead base their positions on sentiments. If Nigerian youths were as creative as some of these people say they are, we would obviously see a huge difference. Please you are to smart to get involved with lazy people like the guy you are engaging. |

rusher14:To slap you dey hungry me. Your creativity will die with you in an environment that's not enabling. Basic amenities should be in place for a youth to function properly. How do you research without a functioning library, no labs, electricity or security? Buhari said we are waiting for free money and food because we are oil producing country...... How true is this? Do you wait for PHCN or you just forget about them and buy fuel for your gen? I have never seen anyone the government feed freely unless you are in jail but then you have to work in jail to eat from the govt. Does the govt provide you medical care freely? Do you expect them to? In fact I can list thousands. I challenge you to list just one thing Nigerian Govt is providing its citizens........just one thing. |

rusher14:As much as I want to agree with you on the points stated above, the government also has a major role to play, I have always stated this point and I will state it once again, how many of our roads and bridges are constructed by Nigerians, and we graduate thousands of civil engineers every year. Buhari himself was sick and went to seek for medical help abroad, that's because he doesn't trust the Nigerian doctors. The issue of research, a sensible government will give research grant, to encourage people to engage in research or how do you expect a hungry person to think. |

Don't even think you have a point. Your argument is baseless, stupid, empty, and wayward. How many research institutions do you have in Nigeria How many tech ecosystem do you have in Nigeria How many students are on scholarships Look at the government owned primary and secondary schools, count how many of them work. We graduate engineers, chemist's, doctors, pharmacist to mention a few every year do they get employed. We are oil producing country, but how many of our refineries are functional I can't continue to mention things, a degenerated fool, sycophant, miscreant like you will continue to support a fail system. If you are not an slowpoke you would have know the negative picture Nigerian youth will have after that statement by your useless and incompetent president. I can continue to rain curses on you but it does not change the fact and the negative opinion you have about yourself. I believe that you are not productive and will likely oppose any move to be creative or innovative. People like you waste no time to sell their rights off for a token that won't put food on your table or save a life. Finally, I believe in Nigeria and the youths of this great Nation. rusher14: |
