I don't agree that Nigerian youth are lazy, rather the elites, and leaders(Govt.) are the ones that are lazy. How do you explain it when a president was voted to change the old of doing, but he rather keep blaming the past administration for his laziness. |

Nigerian youths are not lazy and we always strive for excellence wherever we are. Our parents still think we owe them for raising us. Nigerian students are excelling academically in other countries but the story is different in Nigeria. And those that think the government don't owe them needs to rethink the subject. The government has a right to provide social welfare to its citizens and providing quality and standard education is one of their responsibilities too. I graduated from a state university back in 2004 and I paid #4000 in school fees in my final year. There is a deliberate plan to make public schools graduates invalid, this has worked well with primary and secondary school and I never enrolled in a private school. So, my brother, you are wrong to think that the Nigeria youth is lazy. rusher14: |

lilmax:Because I made something of my life by daring to be different, it means I had things handed to me? I can make the statements I do here because i chose a different path. If you want, I can massage your ego and proclaim the Nigerian youth the most creative, most entrepreneurial, most honest across the entire universe. I would get over 2000 likes for that and I would be popular but more than anything, I would be a liar. Check yourself. |

rusher14:STFU, Argue within context. Who created the hostile environment for the youths? Why do you have to remove the government (which is ironically headed by the person you are masturbating to his picture) for the chinese youths to survive. |

oteneaaron:I disagree, especially with the part highlighted above. Obviously, you've not worked with Asians. Rusher14's submission (which I wish I can like twice) is more correct than yours. I teach Nigerian youths for a living, and while there will always be outliers, take it from me: Nigerian youths are generally L A Z Y. But hey, don't make me into a Buhari apologist o. He's still on his own. |

If Nigeria youth were lazy they wont be running after ridiculous jobs, peace corp and the likes, and even the peace corp the same Buhari refuse to sign their bill into law. |

rusher14:Send that lazy youth outside the country, and watch him do wonders! Your almighty prophet buhari just have a way of blaming everyone and everything else, except himself. Do you know the difference between "most" and "some"? your almighty prophet buhari used " most", implying that over half of its youth populate is jobless? do you think that allegation just stops at semantics? If what is said is the truth, don't you think Nigeria would have gone in blazes? Even if it is a fact that the average nigerian is lazy,he does not necessarily wait on the govt except the few touts they employ to do their dirty work,e.g, sarrki, omenkalive, madriguy, e.t.c. so how do you rationalise a country that a single minister uses over 100million naira to cut mere grass? that 100 million naira would empower 100 youths with if share among(with a share of 1million naira, sarrki will not be enticed to do BMC work). do you know the wonders some youths can with 1million naira? Almighty prophet Buhari allegedly did not account for a whopping 2billion naira ptf monies in his care; do you know that 2 thousand Nigerian youths could have been empowered with one million naira each? Should we talk about the $16 billion OBJ allegedly misused that was meant for power? do you know the impact that money could have had on the youths if it were judiciously used? What about Jonathan, the Ekweremandus, the dasukis, the patience, and all the corrupt criminals we have had-do u know what those monies could have done for the populace? #Bleep almighty prophet Buhari for insulting my intelligence! And Bleep you for being the useful illiterate! |

rusher14:That's a very bad scheme...the money spent on Npower can be invested in a better way with a long term goals. ...you don't ridicule graduates with ridiculous amounts..It's just a white elephant project which a president should know better..In USA you earn minium of $10 per hour..if we earn it per day in Nigeria it's not bad....mind you I ain't comparing Nigeria to Us. |

rusher14:Hahahah don’t knock down Nigerian youths, they are hardworking and display more perseverance than any other country out there. You are so biased in your write up. How can any youths make any meaningful contributions to our economy when Nepa will disappoint them once they are about to settle down by 8pm and start coding,,,you must be joking. More than 50% of western youths would have committed suicide and burn down all government infrastructure if faced with same problems Nigerian youths are facing. #istandwithnaijayouths Let’s keep grinding and one day we will get the right leaders. |

FroshPapie:We have 180 million Nigerians . We produce at peak production 2.5 million barrels of oil daily. Multiply by 100 dollars (which it never is) means we make 250 million dollars daily . You must split that with your Joint venture partners . You probably keep 180 million dollars. Tell me how you pay 10 dollars a day from 180 million dollars daily and to what number of people? |

The trouble isn't that Buhari said that Nigerian youth are lazy. It's what he said it in response to. The question DID NOT mention Nigerian youth. He went off on a major tangent, raising questions about his comprehension, focus, and attention to detail... rusher14: |

FroshPapie:FroshPapie you gave some idea on how much Npower participants should earn daily and I've given you the breakdown of our income at its best. I have deduced that our income cannot support it Why not come back with some defence of your proposal or acknowledge you hadn't thought it through. |
