Mummies please help urgently. I'm just 35wks 5days but starting yesterday I began to feel an excruciating pain at my pelvis. It happens when I sit for a while and get up then moving my legs and walking becomes a major task. I felt this way few days before delivery of my first boy but then I was about 38wks.

Does it mean baby has already engaged I'm barely 36weeks oo

Let me confess sha, I was at the salon and my 2yr old was being very naughty and suddenly ran out of the shop wanting me to chase him. I gave hot chase sharply forgetting the load I carry for body as there was a major road just outside the shop.
This pain started a few hours later.

Please mums help me shed more light as I never even pack hospital bag finish

Teamo, Pelvic pain might just be ur body getting prepared for labour, Labour might not happen soon and it might happen.
Have been having pelvic pain since 28weeks or so and am now 37weeks plus, so it might not necessarily be labour but to on a safe side get ur self prepared.

And Nightingale is disposable hospital delivery mat. (like that brown mat but this one soft and is disposable).

Got my things at 38weeks, baby arrived at 40+3days

You say what? You wanna evict your baby cos he kicks too much.

Oya let me tell you what those kicks mean.
1. He is responding to you. He kicks more when you're excited because he's excited too. He quietens down when you're down because he understands how you feel.
2. He's telling you I'm fine and healthy. I'm strong. If I can kick so hard it means I'm strong enough for the long hours of labour ahead.
3. He's letting you know he's real. You can introduce him to people based on his kicks. Here, look at his head, that's his back, that's his knee.....trust me you will miss those kicks one day.

There are many ways to induce but the difference between induced labour and spontaneous labour is that IL forces the child to come out (more like the landlord giving the tenant quit notice) especially if you do it before the due date. Its only advisable when the the life of Mom or baby are at risk.

To All That Responded To My Post, here is an update

First n foremost, I say a very big thank you .
I went to d hospital I intend registering for antenatal for treatment n I was told they don't accept any result other from their own lab. so I had to re-do d HVS n to collect d result next tomorrow. The mama that suggested cleaning the hoohaa wit water after peeing, thanks a lot. its really helping with d irritation.
