I was driving 05 accord ivtec 3.0 V6 about 256HP I think apples to apples we were evenly match C230 is about the same year there is just something about tourbo charge forget engine litter even the 2017- 2018 Honda Accord uses four plug tourbo charge and it’s faster than the Toyota Camry variant with a V6 3.5L

The j35 VCM & j37 are very powerful and advanced engineered engines. the only reason why a C350 may out pace a j35 VCM is because the honda accord bearing it is a FWD C350 R(A)WD, the honda is a full sized mid executive sedan while the mercedes is a compact sports sedan and the mercedes has an aggressive sports gearing. those hondas are quick. i know an E350 will struggle to out race it.

If you have read your books properly. Youd know theres a difference between a budget compact car (corolla ) and a luxury compact car which is a ( c class.) Compare the lexus is-f to the c class.

The toyota is not a luxury model but a budget car.
That is why they have a luxury division called lexus.

VTEC isn't a supercharger.

That said, a V6 Accord vs a V6 Mercedes of same generation is a lot closer than people think. Like Kingreign said, the Mercedes will have an edge due to it's more aggressive, sportier handling.

In fact, Honda engines are more performance efficient than Mercedes ones. It's nowhere near as clear cut as the Mercedes fanboys are making it out to be.

I also doubt but i stand to be corrected that accord 2000 v6 engines are supercharged

2009 C350 vs Honda Accord 09 V6.
Both are 3.5L engines.

Even though the Accord has a 3hp advantage, the C350 has it beat quite well on 0-60.

The source of the problem was the guy who claimed that an Accord V6 isn't as impressive as a C230. That's honestly just a laughable opinion. An Accord V6 is more powerful than a C230 of same year, even if the C230 is supercharged. Against a C300 and above the Mercedes probably has the edge, though.

You forgot one thing, the reason accord is slower is just weight. Accord is heavier. Weight is more drag.

Honda V6 or J series engines have no turbo or super chargers. They are all naturally aspirated.

Honda City carries 2 plugs per cylinder for is small 1.4L engine. Does that mean its more powerful than a Benz with one plug per cylinder?

Mind you, only the Kompressor or AMG models carry turbo and Supercharger resp.
