Pls help, my RN license was issued in 2013 therefore its more than 4 years and I just got a tutoring job in a school of nursing last year meaning I have no experience of bedside nursing. Now I am currently registering with Texas BON and they require a report of working experience of at least 2yrs if its more than 4yrs u got licensed. What do I do to avoid delays and rejection of application?

With school of nursing, you will get only Registered Nurse certificate in 3 years but with University Nursing, you will get Registered Nurse, midwife and BNSC. SOME AGENCIES PREFER ONLY PEOPLE WITH BNSC

Thanks so much.

For NMC verification to which country?
PAULOYE, if it's for the US or UK. go to the nursing council branch close to you. Take copies of your RN certificates, Licence, birth certificate, N8,750 for each of your qualification to be verified. The money is paid to Council via remita. Your verification will be sent to the address you provided within 6 weeks and you will be given a FedEx tracking number once it is sent... Hope I didn't miss any part. You should be given a Council contact number, so you can follow up, to know when it is sent and get your tracking number.

None so far,(that I know or have heard) A SA lady who was successful is a PhD holder and have conducted many research in Nursing & have written many articles, so she forwarded all to NMC. The whole thing still boils down to ielts I guess.

Am also with avant healthcare, I understand your annoyance , but there is a fact I need you to understand, it's in avants best interest that you start working asap , because that's where they make money , also during my transition I understand that we are luck in Nigeria in my class I met people who waited for 5, and 7 years to get here to the us , and remember that's y they advise keep on living your life till it clicks

After a series of denials ( x3) of my I-140, i finally got an approval last week. Ironically, i had applied for nmc CBT and passed and currently waiting for decision letter to get uk tier-2 visa to Portsmouth (hold an offer at Portsmouth NHS). I no longer have confidence in predicting when the us plan would finally pan out.

Should i just go ahead and go to the uk and forget the US? Which is better US or UK (standard of living, career progression, family life). Should i continue with UK, move over then move to US when it finally clicks? How long from approval of I-140 petition to finally moving over to US.

Again, my spouse is a health care worker. Licensure process for them (PLAB) is faster and easier in uk than us (usmle) which is more stressful and expensive. Thgh US better for doctors after residency.

I need some counsel on what to choose. Spouse willing to move anywhere, but i'd rather she is not stressed over licensure issues.

The Journey so far.

After I passed my ieltsUKVI, I contacted the agency someone suggested here. Well they were keen to run with me thus prompting me to "do fast" and write the CBT.
Within that period, a lot happened. I got mobbed in Lagos twice. Phones, laptops gone. Well, let's just say I got feed up and relented in my pursuit.

Broke and having lost all my study materials, I was just not feeling it again. Thanks to gratefulme40 and a handful of friends that still encouraged me. Fast forward a month, I registered and passed my CBT.

It was not magic, I was just angry I can't come and use my "last card" to write exam and fail it. I studied my eyes out and it payed off. Na God grace sha.

I got a job offer before my CBT, so it was pretty damn fast and expensive journey till my visa came out.

Make no mistake, it ain't easy but not as hard as you'd think it is. All na "mind".

That's my story. Thanks to all who helped me out here. I can't be more grateful. I really appreciate all y'all.

Update.. Update!!!!

By God's grace I passed my Osce exams in the UK. Journey officially ended.

UK dream achieved in 10 months.. My God of One Trial is an awesome God.
