I cant keep doing that everyday or whenever I restart my phone, not worth the stress. I still don't understand why phone companies still make phones without this very delicate option.

I am about placing an order for a Redmi Note 5A on jumia, just one final detail left since its payment before delivery, one have to be careful. Please does this phone have a 3G ONLY or 4G only option? And not the annoying 3G/4G, or 2G/3G combo or 3G preferred - another term used by some phones?

From Settings, you can't select LTE or 3G only,
only via the short/ussd code which the guy is not comfortable with. cc GrandMufti

Well I can on mine o, I can choose only LTE or switch to 3G only if I like. I want to believe that is how it is on all xiaomi devices.

Is it that the pic isn't clear enough to them?
My Sim is currently set to prefer LTE, even though I'm in a 3G and 2G area. The thing is, when you're in a place with 4G your device automatically switches to LTE and stays there until you leave that area.
