I already wrote here that's it's fine to make history. He worked all season for the impressive stats so why pretend like you don't want it when you're on the verge of making history?? He did what's best for him by making history. I hope he makes the same commitment to doing what's best for his team and I'm not talking regular season.

BTW, No need to state the obvious, I already did. Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and James Harden, Chris Paul are not on Westbrook's level when it comes to defense. They're not even close.

I have barely made a post about the Rockets. My criticism has always been directed at Minnesota for underperforming. I did not care about Houston all regular season long and won’t pretend I care now.

Speaking about Timberwolves, they did lose one game by a point, the next by 20 and won the 3rd by a greater margin. I doubt I am afraid of a team that is barely scraping past a wobbly 8th seeded team.

Let me entertain your spin-reasoning a bit, Cavs of last season billed to play this Rockets team who is your money on?

When traditional point guards facilitate the offense by initiating ball movement, they are looking at the big picture, not necessarily the first pass but they have already pictured the next pass after the first, the dominos that would fall and where the ball should end irrespective.

You can shut a modern scoring point guard but Westbrook forgot Rubio is a traditional point guard who is looking to facilitate without necessarily scoring or rebounding. He does this by moving his players around the half court and forcing mismatches on opponents.
The Jazz don't need Rubio to score to win games, naaa.

For the record, the Thunder went 22 minutes and 3 seconds of game time between assists, both assists coming when Russell Westbrook was on the bench.
