You can continue to use it like that as long as it doesn't disturb what you're doing but make sure you get ready to buy another screen anytime soon.

If you have the money at hand you can change it immediately.

Which network are you using? Have you tried to uninstall and install back the software?

Have you tried turning off auto update , turning off live tiles and then setting your connection to metered ?

Hello and good morning house. I have 2 different desktop issues. Both are HP Core 2 Duo. The first one sort of blew a fuse when nepa restored light and refuses to power on since then. So I guess that should be a power fuse or so. Wondering if it's something I could change myself (no repairer around me)
The other one had been working perfectly for years till yesterday, it refused to power on. It's giving me 4 short bleeps and the red light is flashing for times. I also noticed the fan will roll and stop abruptly. Any solutions please?
I'm a software person and not so hardware savvy. But I could still do one or two things on my own if properly put through. Thanks.

Most likely the power pack is gone. Do you smell anything in the fan area behind the system?

The second one
Could be RAM or Board. Try another RAM first

Thanks Razak. I have contacted you on whatsapp but you seem to be offline. I have actually removed the ram, dusted the board and replaced them back but same problem persists. I will try to interchange the power pack of the 2nd one with the 1st one and change their rams to themselves and see what happens. Please reply me on whatsapp when you're on so you can put me through. Thanks.

So,

Short and simple- your system needs good clean up and inspection of the fan. Possibly a replacement of thermal paste which may have dried up

Like I said, your computer is communicating... Better you service now or wait and get a new motherboard later...
