| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 6:07am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Is this your MVP?? Set a simple pick and roll with your big man and drive to the basket. No need for shooting 3s |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:07am On Apr 28, 2018 |
I don’t want Ojoro. That is OKCball. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 6:10am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Eruditor:true. But took that long to foul to get the ball back? These are vets. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:11am On Apr 28, 2018 |
PG was fouled. But I guess refs were afraid to make that call because it would have looked funny. Who saw Russ almost strike an Utah fan. |

Lauri markkanen (Chicago), Dennis Smith Junior, Fultz these guys are also going to be a problem. The draft class is loaded. Don't know how Lakers got conned to draft lonzo .donlittle25: |

We can say all we can about Russ... But we all see this game...it was all on Russ... My guy P turned down shot after shot and tried to play smart Carmelo...no show Adams did well...but most of his points where from the feeds from Russ also Yes they could have tried to go for a 2...no doubt...but remember we didnt have a time out...so why not try to hit the 3s when most of them when open ANd the 2 sef...u now stiffle tower will be waiting there also... Russ def must have gassed out Donovan wasnt able to get in a good system...pronto...OKC needs a new coach unfortunately.. If we switched coaches...JAzz and OKC...OKC would have won maybe in 5 sef..but all that is conjecture Time for another rebuild....unfortuntely...with no money and assets |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 6:32am On Apr 28, 2018 |
The “MVP” got eliminated by a rookie, Spanish conquistador, and a used car salesman |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 6:34am On Apr 28, 2018 |
There is something about rhythm and getting the ball at the right time. When the pg who has two stars shots the ball almost 20 times more than the next star on the team, you're going to have a problem. freaskie: |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 6:36am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Donovan Mitchell is no longer a rookie. He's a force. 28.5 pts, 7.2 rebs, 46% FG, 92% FT, 4-2 series win. Donovan Mitchell scored 28 of his 38 points in the second half......Just an epic performance in a closeout game from the rook Wow! This guy reminds me of a young wade and d rose |
| Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 6:44am On Apr 28, 2018 |
etidy:Among those guys you mentioned, Lauri from the bulls surprised me. His game is polished. He needs to add weight though, and get stronger a little. It’s a really good guys and hope they all pan out well. Lonzo might still turn out really well. It was the damn hype that annoyed me |
| Re: The NBA Begins by freaskie(m): 7:04am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Did you watch the game...PG was turning down shots...Carmelo was a non-factor on both ends... Coach should have given Grant an all clear...and tried to mix it up with Patterson. Apart from decision making...what Russ needs around him are 3 n D guys basically. PG turned down shots but he was still extremely smart and useful But when Carmelo isnt hitting his shots...he becomes a non factor and a liability A better coach may still have found some use for Carmelo imo This game 6...you cant fault Russ generally... And im not saying he didnt shoot some questionable shots The team doesnt have proper ball movement and then his other stars turned down shots Why then should he not shoot them biko? etidy: |

The 4th seeded West teams have lost out in the last 6 or 7 seasons. It is Hexed. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:26am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Utah deserved to win. They really did. How they recovered after Rubio shows character. Their journey ends here though. Rockets in 5. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:27am On Apr 28, 2018 |
freaskie:PG was 2 of 16. Melon had only 3/7. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 8:14am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Eruditor:Sorry..i slept off after watching the cavs match and the first half of our match when it was tied... Lol..obviously i gave my team a slim chance against the rockets if they got past utah..Those Rockets and their threes.....Wish you guys luck against the Pels...Hope to see the Warriors against the Rockets...cracking matchup.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 8:19am On Apr 28, 2018 |
Eruditor:In all honesty, they played better as a team..Imagine if twas russ that injured like rubio...But they tend to collapse without gobert tho.. Hopefully..this will get Donovan sacked and i think PG might leave..They could force Melo out of that 28mil contract.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 9:20am On Apr 28, 2018 |
The question is why do players shot badly when playing with Westbrook. If PG wasn't a proven star at Indiana and we saw his playoffs performance this year, we would have been saying "Westbrook had no help and other players around him shot like shrubs, so he had to do it alone and he indeed balled out" but we have seen this before. Westbrook looking like a hero while the support cast look like farmers. He simply doesn't make his teammate better. Donovan is a tota dunce but its also difficult to install a system if your best player is not willing and does not have the IQ to play off the ball and make his teammates better. freaskie: |

All of you that are in Nigeria and don't have early morning shifts are enjoying To think Cavs got the 2nd easiest team in the East and are struggling against farmers and former B2K members issa big problem. I'm 70% sure they'll close (65.5% actually) but they have to figure things out in the next round. Raptors bench is no joke... Glad to see we've finally found Lowry. He's been missing since 2017 regular season... A soothsayer need not proclaim a healthy Rubio is vital in the 2nd round. 1 or 2 games are sure but if he ain't back, I see a sweep. At least Jazz no fvck up my bet... Dubs shouldn't rush Curry. Game 1 is the most crucial and decides how long the series will last. If I were Kerr after Warriors take game 1, I'll keep Curry till game 4. We don't need any aggravation. Curry better meet Kawhi's doctors ![]() |
