We can say all we can about Russ...
But we all see this game...it was all on Russ...
My guy P turned down shot after shot and tried to play smart
Carmelo...no show
Adams did well...but most of his points where from the feeds from Russ also

Yes they could have tried to go for a 2...no doubt...but remember we didnt have a time out...so why not try to hit the 3s when most of them when open

ANd the 2 sef...u now stiffle tower will be waiting there also...

Russ def must have gassed out

Donovan wasnt able to get in a good system...pronto...OKC needs a new coach unfortunately..

If we switched coaches...JAzz and OKC...OKC would have won maybe in 5 sef..but all that is conjecture

Time for another rebuild....unfortuntely...with no money and assets
I heard that the officiating was bad. Paul George was fouled twice but no call.

All of you that are in Nigeria and don't have early morning shifts are enjoying cry

To think Cavs got the 2nd easiest team in the East and are struggling against farmers and former B2K members issa big problem. I'm 70% sure they'll close (65.5% actually) but they have to figure things out in the next round. Raptors bench is no joke...

Glad to see we've finally found Lowry. He's been missing since 2017 regular season...

A soothsayer need not proclaim a healthy Rubio is vital in the 2nd round. 1 or 2 games are sure but if he ain't back, I see a sweep. At least Jazz no fvck up my bet...

Dubs shouldn't rush Curry. Game 1 is the most crucial and decides how long the series will last. If I were Kerr after Warriors take game 1, I'll keep Curry till game 4. We don't need any aggravation. Curry better meet Kawhi's doctors grin
Do not toy with the Pelicans. AD, Playoff Rondo, and Jrue Holiday are on fire!!. The Warriors needs Steph Curry. I repeat Steph Curry must play for them to advance.
Re: The NBA Begins by osayi90: 11:17am On Apr 28, 2018
If you are a coach and you have the option of picking a franchise player from Lebron James, prime Michael Jordan, prime Kobe Bryant and prime Magic Johnson, who would you pick? a friend asked me but it was too difficult to choose a play from bunch of talented players.
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 11:35am On Apr 28, 2018
Just read Russell Westbrook shot the ball 43 times today. That's simply not on. The next coach hired should move Westbrook to the two guard position and find a proper facilitator to run Point.

That's not what I'm saying...

I'm saying if the Warriors beat Pelicans in game 1, Curry shouldn't be rushed. He can start his playoffs from game 4 if I were Kerr

Donovan Mitchell is no longer a rookie. He's a force.

28.5 pts, 7.2 rebs, 46% FG, 92% FT, 4-2 series win.

Donovan Mitchell scored 28 of his 38 points in the second half......Just an epic performance in a closeout game from the rook

Wow! This guy reminds me of a young wade and d rose

Curry is needed to start the series imo. You can't give the pelicans a chance to win a game on the road.

I'm kinda surprised by the performance of the Pacers so far. Oladipo whom thought was just an okay player is really proving me wrong.
Unfortunately it's the end of the road for them. There's no way pacers is taking a series from LeBron. Adam Silver is still alive

To rush Steph would be a colossal mistake! The Warriors have to play like they don't know if Steph is coming back or not! Any other approach would be disastrous

People keep talking about how rondo will defend curry blah blah blah.

I don’t think anyone understands how difficult it is defending a player that runs around every second of the game.

Rondo is going to be tired.

While I think Westbrook pretty much shot his team out of the game for those 43 shots. It would be rather irresponsible to not blame Paul George as well who had more turnovers than points in an elimination game. Westbrook gonna Westbrook but it's not like Paul George has a legit defense

Surely Westbrook cannot be the reason Playoff P was 2/16 with 6 Turnovers.

I am a Cavs fan, but brother the way the Cavs are playing makes me really sad....I will not be surprised if the Pacers pull off a win in Cleveland in game 7. Kevin Love is a shadow of himself, JR smith is very inconsistent as well as Kyle Kover, Clarkson and Nance Jr are very inexperienced... and Oladipo is in top form.

i saw Paul George turning down open shot.

But then I asked myself, if someone else was the PG apart from WB, will his costars be turning down open shot at every opportunity?

WB needs to be a better point guard and 43 shots? My Goodness

Warriors have KD and Klay Thompson. They also have 4 of the best defenders in the NBA.

If they can't snatch game 1 in Oracle Arena with these players, then Curry needs to break his tibia...

Lol.

It’s just going to be a difficult game for Rondo, chasing curry and having to run the point again?

I would have said put jrue on curry so Rondo doesn’t get tired quickly, but then someone has to stay on allay Thompson.

The difference maker here for me is Anthony Davis.

I totally agree with you. People should let Westbrook be Westbrook that is the only way he can play. I agree he does not have the highest basketball IQ out there or he may be inefficient, but one thing you cannot deny about him, is the intensity, aggression and ferocity he brings to the court. The guy is a beast!! He consistently expend very high energy on every single game. His conditioning is impeccable. Very few players are at his level. Camelo Anthony and Paul George had bad games hence that is why they lost.

i love all the he is a beast. Energy. Etc

But if you are getting knocked out of the playoffs by Ricky Rubio and a rookie, maybe he should forget energy, and use common sense.

Kyrie, curry, Lillard are better shooters, they won’t even take 40+ shots in the playoffs when they are the main stars not to talk of when they have two other all stars

How do you get knocked out of the playoffs by a rookie when you have two players in their prime?

Yes I agree with your analysis, that is why I believe the Warriors needs Curry to beat the Pelicans. The pelicans who swept the blazers are ready to go to war. Infact I think Anthony Davis is the best player in the NBA now. Let's say he locks Kevin Durant, Jrue Holiday locks Klay Thompson (as he did Damian Lillard while still being productive offensively), Rondo against Curry. This will really be an interesting game... whoever wins depends on the productivity of Rondo or Curry.

If you're turning down open looks in a game like this then what is Westbrook supposed to do? I'm not really a fan of how Westbrook plays but I won't throw him under the bus and give the rest a pass. Clearly there are better PGs out there and he is slowly gaining a well-earned rep as a bad shot jacking chemistry killer. 43 shots is too much in any planet

However Melo and PG are OG vets and last night neither one even tried to seize the initiative. They just didn't try and that's the truth. Westbrook tries too hard the others don't try at all

Yea but i will argue that the other two stars had an embarrassingly low field goal percentage, hence you cannot blame Westbrook for the loss you should give him credit. When Paul George showed up the previous game, OKC came from a 25points deficit to win the game. This time, PG(5points , played 45mins, FG 12.5%) and Melo (7points) combing for 12 points while Westbrook (46 points, played 44 mins, FG 42.9%) had 46points.

Give the man his credit!!

I certainly think Westbrook should have taken fewer shots. 43 shots is far too many shots to take for any one player never mind the point. I can't tell you with a straight face that he also didn't play a starring role in this L

However what I don't want is for this L to be placed on Westbrook alone when Paul George played even worse. 5pts from 16 shots?? Are you kidding me?

I actually had the Pelicans beating the Blazers which at the onset looked unlikely. I grossly underestimated how broken this OKC team is. I also didn't expect Spider Mitchell to explode in this series like he did or for Gobert to thoroughly outclass Adams

warriors should let warriors rest in game 1 and see how they play.

If they lose, then curry should suit up for game 2. I don’t really think they need curry anyways. This is a team that won 70+ games lol.

How quickly we forget.
