According to a Facebook user who lives in Sokoto, the girl disguised herself as a Muslim with Hijab in order to infiltrate the area where she carried out her nefarious act before she was apprehended.

The lady who later revealed she's a Christian, was seen with a Rosary on her neck after the Hijab was removed and is said to be in police custody.

What you Musims don't understand is that there is a difference between everyday crime and killings done in the name of religion which is backed by verses in the holy book of that religion.
There are Chrisitan, Jewish and Muslim criminals everywhere stealing and doing all sorts of horrible things. No one will associate that with religion. But when someone kill people because he can back it up with verses of the holy texts of his religion then there is something fundamentally wrong with that religion. Islam has a bad reputation and rightly so. It spread through most part of the world more by swords than persuasion. It doesn't guarantee freedom of worship for non-Muslims and recommend killing of apostates. It is easy to associate such religion with violence.

I have always been saying it that religion can never destroy people, but people using religion to destroy themselves. A Christian is only a person with Christ like character. Just be careful what you post, because religion is such a sensitive matter in Africa, though many are only acting not religious.

You are so biased and extremely sensitive. Hijab is a common disguise for Christian women criminals. Even the prostitutes from south traveling to North Africa were hijabs as disguise.
