Charles Barkley may be blunt but he is quite intelligent and he spoke my mind about Bret Brown. How on earth did you not consider calling a time out immediately the Celtics started the run? It beats me because the Celtics had the tempo and a time out would have slowed it down.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:49am On May 04, 2018
When I said the Cavs look "Rooted" during the last game, I meant every bit of it because they are truly "Rooted". Other players are getting involved, the offense is moving and the players are moving their feet on defense.

No one should suddenly underrate the Raptors because they have the best players and tools to win this series but the Cavs are rooted.

Exactly what I was about to type.

You lot are breathing on them and he's still refusing to call a time out.

Don't know if the 76ers are cool headed or just passive. Either way they look like they don't want to be here.

I think you summed it up nicely. Indeed, raptors have the pieces to win this series. But the cavs appeared to have faced their fears in game 7 last week. Raptors are still hiding from theirs
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody:
Ben Simmons with 1 point. LMFAO. Saying it seems a little redundant saying this again but Brad Stevens is a genius.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:18am On May 04, 2018
I can not stop raving about this rookie J. Tatum. Goodness me!!!!

I have maintained from game one that this series is more about the Cavs than the Lizards. Game 7 against the Pacers was definitely the turning point. Lebron is not choking on a 2-0 lead with the series heading to Cleveland. More importantly, not when his team is playing to their potential.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:52am On May 04, 2018
If the Sixers lose this game, Bret Brown should receive 50 strokes of the cane for some bonehead decisions. Why remove TJ McConnel who was spectacular for Simmons who has been very poor tonight.

Hey Guys.

Question o.

If Derrick Rose was to retire tonight, would he get your vote for the Hall Of Fame?

Why or Why Not?
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m):
Kindly increase the strokes to 100 for Bret Brown for not fouling the Celtics during that possession knowing fully well Embiid is on his 5th foul.

Not for me. One spectacular MVP season is not enough body of work for the Hall of Fame.

BIG AL is leading a depleted roster with a bunch of rookies and young cats deep into the playoffs.

BIG SALUTE TO BRAD STEVENS
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:14am On May 04, 2018
Damn!!!! The Celtics from Ainge down to Tatum is genius..
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:20am On May 04, 2018
To imagine some people questioned the decision to trade the number one overall pick (Fultz) for Tatum..

This is y'all ROTY?? (I know is has nothing to do with regular season but damn the Celtics exposed him last game and today's game was worse).

Triple Doubles has to be the most useless stats to judge someone by these days. Boy better work on his shooting ASAP.

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:51am On May 04, 2018
Is this a compliment or is he mocking him? cheesy

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:54am On May 04, 2018
I hear some people try to claim Durant especially is a better player than LeBron. I try to watch their games objectively and I usually go "seriously? This guy?".

Fact of the matter is, there is LeBron and then there is everyone else in the league and the gap isn't even close at all. Anyone who tries to claim otherwise is just seeking attention.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody:
This is part of what he was talking about. After the Dallas series he knew he needed to add things to his game especially his post moves, who better to call than the dream. The humility. Here's a video of him working out with Hakeem olajuwon on his post moves.

Hakeem is still looking as smooth and graceful as ever!

Brad Stevens though. Is there a better coach in the NBA?....Kerr probably but who else?

Bloody hell, I actually forgot Steve Nash. cheesy
what about him?

Hint:don't talk rubbish about my idol.

Two time MVP (probably didn't know that did you?), One of the greatest shooters and passers of all time amongst other things. Put some respect on the man's name.
well said.

etidy:
Curry = 2 time MVP, Only unanimous MVP in history, Greatest shooter of all time, 2 rings.
1 time Scoring champion. 1 time NBA steals leader.

He's essentially an improved version of nash in almost everything.
in shooting that all.

You are all shades of unintelligent. So making one of 2 free throws (to have 1 more than Kyrie's 26) or blocking Iggy at 89 a piece was more significant than Kyrie's dagger 3?

Or Cavs would have won game 5 if Kyrie had less than 41? Or game 6 if he did not have those prime finishes when the game got close?

Hope you know Bron averaged 29.7 over the whole series to Kyrie's 27.1. LOL. And in all of these you still cannot answer why this very same player got 0 vote for FMVP.

Let me read you anywhere say MENSA again. You are not even dull enough to be called dull. With posts from yesterday to easily check and this phool is typing "despite". grin grin

Repeat after me "BarthramLestat is a useless quasi intellectual" till fades....
ERUDITOR pls let us not be biased lebron James block on Iggy was more important than Kyrie's dagger 3.literally that block won them the title in 2016.

You say let us not be biased then conclude that 91-89 (which would have been the score without the block) is better than 92-89 which the 3 made the scoreline to be. Which was not even my point.

You can read my post again to see the question I asked.

Then he is 3-5 in the finals and it is because "he got no help".

We (un)learn every day.

You are gloating too soon. There is something about looking good at home and being thrash away from home. Not yet Uhuru.

Even though credit is due to Brad for drawing the right plays when it mattered.
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 8:19am On May 04, 2018
Coaching matters.
Something I need to remember because me they underrate coaching influence sometimes.
Wetin Brad Steven they give this Celtics boys ?
I totally believe if fultz is wearing green today he would been having a season as historic as the rest of the studs in his draft class.

what gives you the assurance kyrie was going to hit a clutch time 3 point if lebron James block on Iggy wasn't successfull earlier and the tie was at 91-89?Don't you think that would have had a psychological effect on Cavs players.

Pls this thing is too obvious even to the blind .
