Also anytime I see Donovan Mitchell try that him scoop shot his so in love it. I say too myself "is that not a carry"? Or you can only carry when you're dribbling the ball?

in shooting that all.
He is better than in pretty much everything. The only arguable one is passing.

ERUDITOR pls let us not be biased lebron James block on Iggy was more important than Kyrie's dagger 3.literally that block won them the title in 2016.
I say they're both as iconic and important. just as JR going off in the third was important. Just like kevin loves stop on the two time "unanimous" MVP was important.

People are so wrapped up in this "clutch" madness and tend to forget other contributions. It wont be a tie game without all those points before. I wonder why no one else was voted when curry was unanimous MVP. This guy is actually asking why kyrie didnt get one FMVP vote when lebron had that record breaking series and it was glaringly clear who the best payer was, no one gives you FMVP because you "also contributed", its about who contributed the most. This is something you'd think would be too obvious, you'd think.

He's starting to make skip bayless look like a boffin. Can't tell if he's trolling or not.

Then he is 3-5 in the finals and it is because "he got no help".

We (un)learn every day.
Lebron the greatest player of all time, but hes going up against the greatest teams of all time, the latter always beats the former. I do wonder how people like you actually think losing in the first is better than losing in the finals. So it would have been better for lebron to pull a brodie or lillard than to go to the finals and lose? thats like saying in olympics its better to finish last than with a silver medal. This remains the most illogical argument of all time.

You have a burning hatred of lebron in your heart from the things you've been posting, it wont take anything away from him though.
Re: The NBA Begins by popizaino(m): 2:04pm On May 04, 2018
Is it possible for someone to hate lebron James?
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:42pm On May 04, 2018
popizaino:
what gives you the assurance kyrie was going to hit a clutch time 3 point if lebron James block on Iggy wasn't successfull earlier and the tie was at 91-89?Don't you think that would have had a psychological effect on Cavs players.

Pls this thing is too obvious even to the blind .
Is that not exactly why the shot was huge? Because even if Iggy made the layup Kyrie’s 3 would have put Cavs ahead?

Aon un’sten.

Few days ago Lebron made a goal tending that would have made Pacers be 97-95 ahead of the Cavs with few seconds to go. The Cavs fans and bandwagoners alike accepted the missed call but argued that lebron hitting the last big (buzzer beater) 3 would have still made Cavs win 98-97. That is what makes the shot huge.

Again, if Cavs led GSW by 90-89 already and Iggy’s layup would have made it 91-90 with zero seconds to go and was blocked, that would have made that block the most significant play of the day...but it was not.

Again, in all of these, I am still struggling to figure out what this exactly has to do with my question?

Your question is actually nonsensical. Nobody got a vote because not a single person was remotely close to anything Curry was doing that year ceteris paribus. Can the same argument be made about the Cavs warriors 7 game series?

The thing about blind subjectivity is, you start answering questions you were not asked and making assumptions that are non-sequitor.

Let us, get some chaff out of the way:

1. I did not say Lebron was not the best player of the series so repeating it at every turn just shows you have no answer for my question.

2. I did not say that Kyrie deserved the FMVP, I simply asked why he got NO vote.

Why is it important?

Because when Iggy won the FMVP Lebron got some votes on the losing team. The argument was “he had no help” and how Iggy was instrumental in limiting him.

Lebron was averaging 35pts on 40 shots. So he was inefficient but still making buckets. Iggy’s numbers apart from game 5 or so were bang average. The player with by far the best stats on the warriors was Curry but he got 0 vote.

Now in 2016, Kyrie’s numbers are here for all to see. 27ppg. 41 in game 5. 23 game 6 26 game 7 when Lebron was having an off game until the 3rd Q. It was Kyrie that was keeping Cavs in that series for large swaths of the game with iso play after iso play till Lebron joins in to make buckets too.

It is Kyrie that hits the game winning shot.

In all of these, Lebron gets all the vote for FMVP and Kyrie does not get even a single 1. Just one to show that he was huge in the series. Nothing.

This goes back to my initial argument about hypetrain phenomenon in FMVP voting. Which was my response to you for Curry not winning it in 2015. They wanted to lionize Lebron so much that they decided to give Iggy an FMVP trophy just because of Lebron. The end.

Like i said, when you type you just type rubbish because you have no direction. You just know you have to hate. The reason i keep bringing up what lebron did is because you are the only person foolish enough to believe what kyrie did was close to what lebron did. This man led BOTH teams in ALL statistical categories in a finals for the FIRST time in NBA history and this guy actually thinks anyone watching that series will give kyrie a vote ahead of lebron? LOL! Fvck outta here with your malaria, black irrelevant skip bayless. At least skip gets paid.

As much as I like Ben, Donovan Mitchell deserves it because he is an actual rookie but not because of the playoffs. The playoffs doesn't count.

More and more worthless drivel.

Notice how my question is not being answered.

2015- he had no help. Give him sympathy votes and give FMVP to the player defending him.
2016- 29pts to Kyrie's 27. He led all the bla bla...not a single mention of the help he got.
2017- lost and Kyrie averaged 29pts. Got sympathy votes for triple double, Kyrie got none again.

Get well soon.

If Kyrie returns do you hold on to Rozier and Smart? It's insane that the Celts can boast of three quality point guards. This Rozier was especially mediocre last year. See how much he has improved

This is why I absolutely loathe wastemen like DeAndre Jordan who relied solely on his athleticism and never improved his game after almost 11 years in the league

LeBron averaged 36 13 and 9 in 2015. The FMVP is given to the best player in the finals but they only give it to someone on the winning team though it's not in the rule book. Everyone knew who the best player was. In fact LeBron had the warriors on the wall until Iggy was put on him and the warriors got back into it (Iggy didn't do sh it LeBron got tired) but it looked that way so the reason for the warriors winning wasn't curry but iggy, at least that's how it looked.

LOL this idiot actually thinks Kyrie should've gotten a vote ahead of Durant or LeBron who averaged a 30 point triple double (first triple double in the NBA finals) SMH. You are a drunkard.

You keep missing the point dum dum. In all these finals LeBron was far and away the best player, they just didn't win but everyone saw he was the best player in these series. If the Cavs won in 2015 he would've been unanimous, if they won in 2017 no idiot will vote for Kevin Durant let alone kyrie. The fact that this idiot thinks Kyrie deserves an MVP vote ahead of LeBron in any of the finals he played in is just a testament to the brand of stupidity nature has cursed this im becile with.

I do and especially since it's actually his first year in the NBA. Donovan Mitchell should be rookie of the year but unfortunately he won't win it.
