A Cavs vs Celtics ECF. I would have gone with the Celtics because of the shock factor but after what the pacers did to them, I am sure they will come out blazing and won’t play around |

Aye man, this team is really trash ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:12am On May 06, 2018 |
Mehn, congrats to Lebron. He will most likely get to another NBA finals. Only Pacers played like they wanted to be here. As for Sixers, they had a chance today and they blew it. Even if they had won, Celts are clearly the better team with obviously the better coach. I know they lost a couple of starters, but their rookies were highly drafted which means they know their stuff. Jayson Tatum has leadership potential. I pray ego does not come up anytime soon because when Kyrie and Hayward come back, some of these rookies will fallback into the rotation. What does Ainge do about Rozier now? Can they keep him after this season? He seems like he can lead a team as their PG although part of his success is Brad. I famously called Al, Horfraud in the past. He is legit. If only he can do a job on that Akron guy now and Celts come out the east. That would be nice. Sixers and Raptors believed their own hype. Sad ending. |

And some people think LeBron will come to the West. If LeBron is wise, he would remain a Cavs. He doesn't need to prove anything to anybody again. He's already top 2 all time great. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Manutd19: 7:14am On May 06, 2018 |
Watched highlight of the Warriors Pelicans again and I see warriors going to the FT line much more than the pelicans in each game. AD should be on that line on almost every play. Truth is aside from that game 1, Warriors arent playing that great and pelicans could be ahead if the officiating was fare NBA protects.......... Cavs vs Warriors finals again |

Manutd19:No, your assesment is not definitively true. All fouls in favour of GSW were good calls, the pelicans were commiting terrible fouls, the fouls were too glaring. For example that hard foul on Iguodala in game 2.Most of what you considered fouls that should have been against GSW, were not clear fouls. Davis was trying to bully his way through the defence, and the GSW defence spearheaded by draymond were not having that. That's a simple assessment. I don't understand why everyone wants GSW to lose, when they are not, it's either the referee was not fair or they are too stacked. If the Pelicans want ot win this series, they will have to show they want it more.Like they did in game 3. |

benji93:Everyone wants GSW to lose? Lol..... I was just pointing out the obvious pal. Any assessment against the warriors doesn't necessarily means hate towards them.. Haba |

Brad stevens has arrived, he makes the best out of any crop of talent made available to him. I am now convinced joel embiid is no where near hakeems level. He doesn't seem to have the will to win, alongside another point guard considered ot be trascedental. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 9:40am On May 06, 2018 |
So Tatum, Mitchell, jaleyn brown, Simmons are balling in the playoffs, meanwhile lonzo is rapping and Ingram is still playing passive like a two yr old sissy if i hear that Lakers are young bs again. What hurts so much is that the Celtics are so young and good with lots of good picks yet we started rebuilding at the same time. Bleep you kupchak for messing us up. ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 9:44am On May 06, 2018 |
benji93:Embiid is not there yet but he's already a top 2 center in the league. The Sixer's are not only young but the coaching crew also lacks playoff experience. Give them a year or two that team will be a contender. I also think the match up is a problem for them. Trust me, the cave are more happy to play the Celtics than the Sixer's. |

Thank you Kyrie Irving. If you didn't leave we probably won't see this version of LeBron. If you didn't leave LeBron probably wouldn't have murdered the whole "he's not clutch" myth as emphatically as he has now. That narrative is dead. |

I didn't even say shooter, I said 3 point shooter and some cupcakes here tried to come for me. Well, preach it DeMarre, that's a reasonable opinion to have. Just like mine was, I just don't get why people can't understand this.

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:51pm On May 06, 2018 |
Manutd19:The way to make your case is to isolate a couple instances where Refs gave a ticky tacky call in favor of GSW. I have one; Rondo deliberately hit Steph’s ankle in game 3 and the NBA is yet to suspend him or did Ian Clark not smack Curry’s hand on that 2pt attempt that they called a blocked shot? But Draymond was suspended for calling Lebron a b-tch....in the NBA finals. If you watch bastketball and not the score boxes you will notice that GSW have tried to put the defenders of Pels in foul trouble. So when you see all those cuts and screens, the players still don’t jump to the hoop but try to sell many pumps and fakes so that they can get +1s. It is not the extra point they are looking for, they want to get buckets while adding fouls to Jrue and AD most especially so that the Pels strategy of funneling a player into the box for AD to swat will be thwarted. Pels on their own are running out quickly in transition to hit 3s. They are attempting way more 3s than GSW because that is their trade off. They know if they play the foul game, GSW will have time to arrange their D and by the time you start trading points with us, chances are we are going to make more. So the leverage is the 3 adds up better than the 2. That is why they won game 3 so convincingly; because GSW shot poorly and they could not miss. But their 3s piled up and before long it was a 25pt lead that later shrank to 19 by game end. So when you see GSW having more foul calls it is exactly what was designed. If anything, the refs are not calling the fouls as oft as they should. The last 3mins of game 2, Curry deserved FTs on every possession. Read me: EVERY possession. In fact, the Pel players were yelling at the refs for not calling it. They wanted to use it to slow the game but the refs just wanted the game to flow. So when I saw Rondo arguing that the last possession should have been a jump ball between him and KD, it was funny because he knew the refs had ignored every possible call leading to that. KD was fouled 2 times before Rondo could even hold the ball. GSW lost. You people should milk your celebrations well but no need for the hot takes. Apart from last season, GSW have had bad game 3s going back to even Mark Jackson’s time. Heck, we were on the verge of losing game 3 against Cavs till KD turned up. That is where he deserved to be the FMVP. Curry had till that point outplayed him slightly. |
