Awww. never say never!! my advice to you both is that you should take some time off the exams and study . the exams are all about following instructions, having a good sense of timing, total focus and serious preparation with past questions to know the format. I aced mine in the second attempt. don't worry. give yourselves a month again but study everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, you have to go to OOU in person with the date the mail was sent to them ( that should be in the update u got from WES) because they won't reply the mail ooooo. Talking from experience. I waited for almost a month n there was no reply not until I went there in person, I was asked the day the mail was sent, I told them, was asked to wait n the verification reply was sent same day. That's Olabisi Onabanjo University for you.

Just an observation.

So my friend wrote IELTS with BC March 24th in Lagos, applied for EOR April 20th and got a feedback for BC yesterday May 8th. Just barely 3 weeks with no upgrade.

I think BC may also have started processing the remark here in Nigeria because 3weeks is even less than what's on their website (6-8weeks).

What do you guys think?

Not true sir. Why go through all that stress when you can just call the person in charge to follow up. You just need to be polite and that's all.

-I filled and submitted IMM008 the generic form and IMM5406 Additional Family Information form. Tho my family configuration did not change, I feel its better to provide it to avoid any delay in processing.
-Passport Photograph (2 copies each for every passport you're submitting with your application)
-VFS Consent form.
-Height and eyes color form (this was attached at the bottom of my ppr mail).

hey ya. I called a couple of times and it was sorted. I just provided the date it was sent, WES REf. number and name of the person's result that was being verified. May be we called different people. I heard verification is done by one person though.

---- A university degree or college diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or in a related field and Several years of experience in an advertising, public relations or communications officer position or in a related occupation are required.

Also I was looking at 1123 but the qualification stated is for

---- A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required.

Please advice on choosing the best NOC for me

Turns out I've been deceiving myself on my CRS score all this time. I was stating my work experience as 3 or more years having worked for 4.5years. I just realized the experience has to be related to the particular NOC I am claiming. I only have 2.5 years experience there (NOC 1111). My other 2 years work experience is in Banking. This reduced my CRS by 25 points to 430. What are my odds with this score?

I don't have any extra certificates, but I will definitely explore these options.

I have a brother that I've been begging to do this journey. I used a band 7 for him throughout and he still scored 478 crs. But for some reason, he's not interested at all.

Was a bit worried about the extra courses because of age. But will get on it right way.

Hi @mumzt, I would recommend that you consider the PNP route as well. It's a surefire way to get through, considering your brother's reluctance.
