The countdown is something else! May God make it easy for us all.

Nigerian airlines are quite strict with pregnant ladies. None of them will allow you fly at 35weeks. Some of their policies allow up to 30 weeks. I am not so sure of the 30 weeks. I advise you hear from them before buying ticket.

Yes, you would need a fit to fly letter signed by your Dr. Another alternative would be to get one from the health nurse at the airport(I can’t remember what dept that is)

Peeping mum responding. We are all good,just waiting to offload. This is one journey I can't wait to end. No honeymoon period at all... Still suffering morning sickness, sleeplessness, lack of appetite, no cravings, change of skin tone, fear of the unknown etc. Ha! This baby has done me strong thing. I am still on my pre-pregnancy weight - 68kg.
In all, I still thank God for bringing us this far. I just hope the hyperactivity LO is displaying already in the oven is not an indicator of more stories to tell when she finally pops out. And yes, it is a girl. Update sex abeg.

In other news, I now have hemorrhoids it’s not funny at all. It started shortly after the delivery of my 1st but subsided. It reappeared .again last week.

Sorry for the hemorrhoids dear, that thing can make someone sit and walk uncomfortably, it'll be as if you're carrying small remaining poop. Just do sitzbath religiously and it'll go. Some said scent leaf helps too.

Good am mamas, pls anyone battling with stomach ulcer? pains is out of this world and antacid is not relieving the pains. had same experience with my dota and dont want to be in and out of hospital cos of ulcer again . any safe natural remedy will be welcome.
secondly have been cramping seriously most especially at nyt, told my doctor but she said we should observe for another 48hrs .hope its normal to ve cramps at 6wks

1. Even if you have CS now, you can still try for VD with your next. It's after 2 CS that Doctors won't try for VD again
2. I know how it feels to attempt VD then eventually do ECS but I still think you should try. The difference is marginal and I don't think there's a reason to decide for immediate surgery yet. It's a major surgery so weigh your options properly before deciding to go for it. Another medical opinion is a good idea

Please i have a question. I don't know if anyone is familiar with this CT pelvimetry that is done for ftm. I did mine last week and it shows pelvic inlet is 11.9cm while the normal gap should be 13.5cm (all other parameters normal/above). I've met a Doctor and he said I still have a chance at VD but that if progress is slow, they'd go for CS. Explained that the inlet is not too small for baby but they can't take chance of too long delivery not been sure of if baby is coming through or not. My aunt is suggesting I go straight to CS instead of VD and risking ECS. I hope to see another Doctor (still same hospital) at next ANC for another opinion.

I'm about 5" 3 or so. I know some people say height matters sometimes. Baby's size is also normal, scan EDD is exact as LMP.

is anyone familiar with this , experienced it or know someone that can comment on it? I want to really understand it better and what the odds are to save myself myself from VD and then ECS. I had really hoped for VD for my Children. I guess if I go for CS now, it means all other children would also be CS.

Finally for team April, Baby came 4th may 8:25pm weighing 4.3kg.

my edd was 23rd April from first scan subsequent scan dates varied from 24th to 30th. I carried the pregnancy with 3myomas(fibroid) so my tummy was massive. By my 40th week I was getting depressed and crying over any little thing. I entered May like I was dreaming couldn't believe I was still pregnant no sign of labor nothing. 3rd may towards evening I started feeling small pains on my waist but the intervals were long and far between it went on thru d nyt and stopped the following afternoon. I then made up my mind to go to the Hosp d following day and insist on being induced. Around 4pm that evening the contractions started again this time stronger with shorter intervals. By 6pm i observed that the intervals were less than 20mins apart so I went to the Hosp only to be told that I was 6cm dilated and I shld be prepared for delivery. Was given a bed and drip was set up then that devilish oxytocin was added. Na there I no say labor start. Jesus eh! My God oh! Nurse eh! My waist oh!By 8pm I was fully dilated and wás told to push I push oh but baby was big and I was getting tired the nurses had to start pressing my tummy and using oil to massage my perineum I was screaming for my life then in a flash baby popped out and d pain ended just like that. In my subconscious I told myself never to forget this pain so that I won't get pregnant again. I refuse to forget
She was cleaned and weighed when I was told the weight I argued with them and told them to do it again that d scale was faulty cos I couldn't believe 4.3kg could come out of my bumbum.
I was stitched and cleaned up and taken to recovery.
I appreciate this thread and all the mamas who take out time regularly to come here and keep the thread going. Cappo Patking and all April mamas we came we saw we conquered nothing broken nothing missing. God be praised forever!

I keep sending my EDD and sex of baby everytime but it's like no one is updating it. Anyways EDD is 30th of June and sex is XY . To God be the glory the journey has been amazing, but honestly ehn I can't wait to offload this bundle of joy . I know it would end in praise For all of us in Jesus name

Mama sorry for that ulcer pain am sure mamas that has experienced such will answer u soon. As for cramps it is normal at 6 weeks but it shouldn't come with bleeding. Am in my 18weeks and I still get cramps once in a while. Make sure u drink lot of water for the cramps. I also read somewhere that garden egg leave juice is good for ulcer. We shall all carry to term and deliver like the Hebrew women.
