Yoruba lazy? Lol. Yorubas are the most hardworking tribe in Nigeria. There are even proverbs that discourage laziness. Igbos see criminality as being hardworking. Being lazy results to criminality in the first place. An average yoruba man would go to school or learn a trade. No Yoruba man is not in these categories. Ibos on the other hand have few school goers and some that learn a trade while majority don't, thereby resorting to crime.

Secondly, Igbo women are easy to date than an average yoruba woman. Before setting with my fiance, I dated more Igbo women than I dated yoruba because they don't give much difficulty to woo. Yoruba girls are more difficult for me. This is my personal experience though, I'm not generalising. I relate more with Igbo girls than Yoruba.

Don't deceive yourself, sista. Most Igbo guys just prefer to use Yoruba girls, then dump them before running back to their ethnic group to marry their fellow Igbo women. Yoruba parents are aware of this, so they try to protect their daughters from making a mistake by not allowing them to tread this path, without caution. Too many of such stories happened, when I was in the university. They just won't admit it.

Yoruba parents value their daughters, so they won't just dash her out immediately to just any guy that shows up. They will first refuse, until they have studied the guy, gotten info about him and done a check on his background. But such practices are even dying out, these days. Like my Yoruba neighbour always says: "You cannot give up something you value, in a cheap manner, without a struggle."

The few ijaws in Ondo state are citizens of the state and nothing can change that fact. And as regards what the other guy and i were discussing...
