it is amazing what little a exposure can do to one's thought process

You have made a valid point about exposure in your previous post

Education is powerful weapon with which we can change the world". Nelson Mandela
Exposure isn't even about leaving one's shores but by reading... Ignorance is a disease and there is no excuse for it in this day and age when the key to knowledge is everyone's hands...

Ibo man leave Yoruba people and mind your business. We don't shares any similarity with iboes. Our history, culture, tradition, and language are totally distinct. I don't support intertribal marraige...especially with iboes.
Ibo man, leave Yoruba people alone and mind your business.
This is the love by the lovers since my saying they have deep hate is uncivilised. Lol

Good point

Ignorance is the main problem

One can choose to be ignorant of the facts, even when surrounded with enough information.

i guess some of those involved in the arguments are well informed, but have chosen to wallow in ignorance for the reasons best known them.

Exposure and education is about acknowledging reality not self deception and political correctness.

Lol, I don't think igbos are like that. Yoruba men still womanizes more and like jumping from one woman to another compared to Igbos. The only fear with igbos is, yoruba parents think they may be harsh and maltreat their daughters. Yoruba are brought up to be peaceful, accommodating and humble. But an average igbo guy may look troublesome, that's the fear of parents.
Ehn, that is what you think. Please do more research. You will come to a different conclusion... undecided

though your point is still as lame AF buh kindly explain @ bolded. And if you guys can't tell your friends you are dating a yoruba gal, is it not because of the fear of rejection by them.. Cuz the hatred that has bn all over you all since birth. You know they'd condemn your action and advice you to go back home and find your local mate same way you people are disturbing mikel because of olga, have i not seen countless post by igbo people saying all sort to mikel to come back home and marry from his local town, caling olga all sort of f**kery names. We yorubas date whosoever we want, we care less about tribe or race. Have f**ed idoma, igbo and my tribe. And so we are. Buh that someone is jackpot, you are only deceiving yourself. And you people shouting Davido and Chioma upandan, first know Davido grew in Atlanta and a citizen of the U.S and he is an international artiste who could have find and date any girl any where all around the world, he found love in chioma just same way peter found love in Lola that he was/is ready to sacrifice his family to protect lola because he knows everything is all because of the hatred his people have towards all other tribes in Nigeria. All 2nd class infact 3rd class citizens in Nigeria were trained with hatred from infant.
Hehehe... I don talk say I no go laugh dis night, but...! cheesy shocked grin

Why do you iboes love talking about Yoruba all the time? They swear for una?? Every time Na Yoruba matter una iboes shameless things put for head. We don't want inter tribal marriage with iboes. We are not same. Our ancestors never crossed part. If not for the British people, we won't be in same shytehole country with you. Mind your business and leave Yoruba people alone.

I think you guys are all the same and in your attempts at taking them to 'task' you joined in and added to the problem by show casing your own petty propaganda at discrediting other ethnic groups. Basically, you are part of the problem.
I am not part of any problem. sad So some misguided guys can waltz in here, heap scorn on women from another ethnic group, and we should all hail them, clap for their clueless remarks or give them a pat on the back? Or what the heck are you saying? huh I debunked their propaganda with facts. If you can't see that, let me borrow you my contact lens, to read through all the posts made on this thread! shocked

Hahahahahaha! Nah..yorubas are the most hard working tribe in the whole universe..yu must be a joker. Guy when yu wake up tmorrw stroll to any bus stop near yu ad see how hardworking yur brothers are..They are working hard collecting owo mi da from lazy bus drivers.
If yu know how other tribes especially women curse them in public buses..Yu will be ashamed of yur hardworking men.
Bia, don't allow me to open your nyash here. sad So in all the motorparks in the Southeast, there are no touts that collect money from bus drivers? From Ogui Road to Ogbete Market in Enugu to Ewulobia park or Upper Iweka in Onitsha, there are no touts that ask the bus drivers for money? Or are those touts over there no longer Igbo, but they are from other ethnic groups?

Igbos are there because the warf there is more used by them. So now Yorubas not coming to east is no more about the people not being lovely but for economic reasons? Keep changing the post.
Stop using Wharf as your excuse. Even those among your townsmen, who have NO business at the wharf still run to Lagos. There is a wharf at Onne, why don't you use that one? huh

You don't know what you are missing! cheesy Inter-ethnic unions have the variety to spice things up for life. Once there is love, tolerance, respect, compatibility and wisdom, it works....
unfortunately I won't settle for love in marriage rather I will go for understanding and compatibility. you know how complex inter tribal marriage is , and I am not the emotional or lovey type. 75% of inter tribal marriage lacks focus and understanding.

Not true. sad How many inter-ethnic marriages have you surveyed? Five? Ten? Twenty? Or a hundred? huh I am a product of an inter-ethnic union, and so were my parents, and they are the most focused and understanding people I know. One common feature of inter-ethnic marriages is that both partners learn how to adapt to situations, families and events. In marriage what matters most is not just love, but respect, tolerance, sincerity, support, trust, loyalty and understanding. These are the things that foster compatibility, and not tribe. A person may come from your tribe, and yet may never understand you, but another person from a different tribe may be willing to die for you, in addition to understanding all the deep things that reside within your heart. undecided Communication is the key!
