Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Inspecting the 100 375 Model Merssey Ferguson Tractors procured by his administration, they are adjudged to be one of the most rugged and powerful Agricultural Mechanization equipment. The initiative was intended to provide support to farmers towards boosting productivity in the Agricultural sector of the state in line with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s agriculture agenda in the state.

This is what is called empowerment of the people not by sharing wheel narrows, tea +bread+eggs.
To make money in government is easy, if you do what you need to do people will not ask questions concerning amount spent on a project but if they are not working but embezzling money that is when people ask questions.

A sustainable agricultural program is possible but takes work and medium to long term planning, something these politicians abhor.

We always assume we know what farmers want...most times we don't. Tractors are good, I commend the government for the efforts, but chances are they did not ask the farmers want they really want before assuming tractors would solve their problems. Bottom-top policies are lacking in Nigeria...once again, well done Niger State.

God bless you for this your comment. I think say na only me dislike that fool. He is busy looking for ways to criticise others, Buhari is his nightmare. Instead of him to get to work, developed his states, all he does is to criticize and then come to give drama on social media, either you seeing him eating in bukar joints or he is on a bike to show he is close to the masses. We are ahead of such pretence and games, mister. Develop your state, governance is a serious business not for play and pranks.

The way they'd start picking the tractors as personal properties..very soon na only 5 them go fit account for..traces of the other 95 gone...other wise na very good initiative..Tractors should be at the local govt in every community for easy access and at very cheap prices for repairs and maintenance!!!
