You don't exactly need to be part of such a group to get access to soft copy novels.

Just google-search the author's name/novel's name and add "PDF download". You'd surely get the books you see...or, well, most of them.

There is even a faster way though. When you open google, type Filetype pdf: and the name of the book. E.g Filetype pdf: richest man in Babylon. It will bring you the direct download link.
