Lol, so u think FHD and 2k resolution are hypes lmao. Try increasing the brightness of a 720p phone and watch it hurt ur eyes, now do same with a 2k display and enjoy the display. Good device no doubt but call a spade a spade, 720p IPS display is 720p and it gets even worse the bigger the display becomes, there's nothing more to the display quality. U will enjoy 720p display on a 4 inch phone than on a 6 inch phone.

Am not saying a FHD display does not have its merits,but that there is more to a display than just the native resolution..I've used a FHD display that looks so washed out color wise with bluish whites and poor viewing angles and I have used 720p displays that have great colours reproduction and viewing angles..

You are right about the washed out and viewing angles thing. But don't u think a company that pay attention to details like good viewing angle would go the extra step in making the screen 1080p instead of wasting resources on 720p display. Just saying.

Not necessarily,nobody pays more attention to detail than Apple but yet their iPhones like iPhone 8 is technically a 720p display with comparatively low 326 PPI compared to some 530 PPI Androids and yet their displays are among the very best in the industry..

Iphone 8 comes at 4.7 inch bro, u will never see Apple use 720p on their plus iPhones. Like I said earlier, the bigger the display, the more pixelated it becomes with 720p. Using 720p on a 6 inch phone? I can't stand it. Moreover Apple pay a lot of attention on their display (more than majority of Android OEM's). Their phones (even those with 720p) have great viewing angles and brightness level. They can afford to do all these and still add a 720p display because they have no competition an their phones are expensive. Android OEM's have too many competition. If u use 720p and make it look like Apple's 720p people will still choose the other phone with 1080p at similar price so its nor worth it. And there's no way u can twitch 720p display on a 6 inch phone it would still look horrible, still manageable on 5 inch.

Among the best after Samsung made their iPhone X display. Samsung makes the best displays hands down.

More processing power + more ram on flagships means a lot of stuff are running at the same time.

Lol, to be frank my wife has infinix hot 4 pro with 4,000mah battery that she got since 2016, when I was using galaxy s7 edge with 3,500mah battery her phone lasts a full day with heavy usage and would still have about 30-40% left before bed while my s7 edge would need charging by 3-4pm under same heavy usage. By ur analogy that s7 edge with 3,500mah battery should be beating the hot 4 pro with 4,000mah but hell no, the battery on the hot 4 pro is twice efficient even though it has just 500mah more. And mind u galaxy s7 edge is still one of Samsung's flagship with best battery, still lasts longer than s8. That beautiful screen, sensors and everything running in the background take a load on the battery while the infinix is just a basic mid range phone with 720p display, so do the maths.

Xiaomi redmi series don't always have good cameras, just average. It's one of the costs they cut to make the device affordable
