With utmost regret and pain in the heart, the wife of the Ondo State Governor Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu utterly discouraged students and individuals that were campaigning for funds to raise #4million for the #SaveWole heart surgery. Mrs Betty while speaking at the inauguration of the Female Staff Association of Adeyemi College of Education vividly told the campaigners that 4million naira is not easy to raise in an education community like Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo and subsequently did not donate a dime. we are pleased to inform the first lady that we have raised 2million naira in 24 hours and we will meet the 4million naira target.

That's really bad of her. Our people say that when another man's coffin is being carried, it seems like a log of wood. Humanity is all about caring for one another, not for self aggrandizement. As a first lady and a leader, she should be affectionate to the poor soul. Money being raised was not meant for Gucci bags, cars, holidays or other ostentatious wants but for the poor soul to LIVE. The first Lady is not the worst but because she showed hers openly.. I know that she'd surely regret this wicked act.
