My Birth Story (testimony time)

My pregnancy journey was a testimony. Started my antenatal in Abuja before getting an invitation for a 6 weeks job training in Lagos. Had to move to Lagos and started training @33 weeks. Registered in a new hospital where I was told I my sugar level was high and the journey to reduce sugar level began
After dieting, the sugar level kept fluctuating and I was booked for induction @37 weeks. Went when I was 37 weeks and 5days.
Got to the hospital last week Thursday where a drug was inserted (very painful something) and felt nothing after 6 hours. Another was inserted yet no show oh, at that point I was told my pelvis is small and they can't feel the baby's head with their fingers but through scan, the baby's head was down but not to the pelvic area. On Friday I was placed on hot drip which did nothing, was given he second doze yet I felt nothing that was how they said I'm going in for CS
During the CS I stayed awake but was given injection to numb my bikini area to my legs. When the operation was ongoing, my baby brought her hands out first and it was a struggle forcing it back and looking for a head.... she was big and I could feel the struggle to bring her out. I had chest pain from the push which was so painful I kept saying that I want to stand up or lay on my side just for a while then I heard my baby cry it was a relief!
My baby was cleaned and weighed 4.08kg... the doctors kept saying God loves me and that's why I didn't fall into labour because I would have struggled on vain and ended up in an ECS because she was ready to come out with her hand first....
I thank God for everything including my recovery.
We plan but God has the final say!

Then by 37-38 weeks when you're term you can start taking the pineapples by then hopefully your cervix will be ready to cooperate.

Good to hear from u sis and dont be tired, everything is a gradual process. Dont worry all will be well, it will all end in praise just keep looking up to the maker of heaven and earth.

I am going to d hospital tomorrow to beg for induction o cos I can't stand or sit anymore and d last scan I did measured 38wks. I won't mind going for induction again as I have never had natural labour before. My two kids were through induction.

You're term already so yes you can. Being up and moving is the surest way. Some say sex and nipple stimulation.

Ah! Teamy don't be tired o. Whenever the thought starts stressing you out, force your mind to think about those who just got their BFP and are gearing in to face MS and all. At least you're in your 2nd trimester. If counting in weeks is too much, count in trimesters. You have only one trimester left.
