Bros, it is inconceivable! Wait, I thought ICAN ATS is the foundation course package for non-acountants or NON-ACCOUNTING B. Sc holders.

ATS is for school cert holders while ACA is for degree holders.

ACCA Foundation courses F1-F3 should be equivalent to ICAN foundation courses comprising of 4 courses (CBL, EBE, FA and FM) but that isn't the case.

No doubt about that. Did you do it before creating an EE Profile? That's the case in view here

Interesting how these CIC requirements favor the "less privileged" graduates

OK, are these four courses part of the 15 ICAN ACA courses that degree holders do? Is ACA just for any degree holder? If the ATS is for school cert leavers, can a degree holder intentionally go for it for this immigration runnings because... Money and time no dey. I used to see May diet, November diet...

u need 3 diets to complete ican ATS, dat one and half years. Accounting exams are open to anyone. The best bet is still ACCA foundation which u can do at once

Hello Sir,

Actually I have been let down big by WES once as they have given me Diploma-3 years mistakenly for my Bachelors- 3 years, later they have corrected it but I lost my OINP noi 45 days deadline for that as without Bachelors once cant apply sad

I am kind of very scared to take a move by starting ACCA now without being 100% sure that I will get the 1 year Diploma equivalence for it. I am very scared as you can understand my situation sad.

So, if i can have the screenshot of the WES ECA, then I can have something to back me up and start ACCA with full motivation. So, you and anyone has achieved the result, pls share it here or through email. It will help a lot Sir, thanks

If not for the OINP demand, diploma of 3years equivalence is good to go under FSW.. People should note this. It is a good thing WES rectified, though.
Ontario might reinvite u or u use that their 1541CAD on ur ACCA. Ontario nomination timeline is not encouraging, I must tell you.

Please let me understand, so one can do their medical before ITA. Then what is the advantages of doing it before getting ITA?

Yes they are. In addition to my earlier post, ATS holders can also proceed to the ACA path weather or not they have obtained a degree.

Yes, one can commence with any degree from a recognized institution, albeit exemptions are granted to people who studied certain courses from ICAN recognized institutions. It is also permissible to start from ATS with your degree but that's a longer route than the ACCA, if it's for EE purposes.

When u wanna leave Nigeria.. It is costlier abroad. When u wanna submit ur e-APR on record time. When u are sure of ITA. When u are doing all u can to douse tension and up ur hope.. It helps when u have health issues like TB.. Which needs time for its treatment.. And others. The disadvantage is redoing if it runs out of date, having little time to leave ur country of residence etc.

But it isn’t needed for medicals. It makes sense to create your profile and wait for ITA before medicals but it isn’t a must. Upfront medicals do not require profile details.

I think the original asker is the person that has to leave Naij soon but will like to do medicals here cos much cheaper.

There’s no advantage (except being able to submit the minute you get ITA). It has a validity period and if you enter LVO, na your own be that.

For all of us considering ACCA F1-F3 pls go ahead.

This proof you see here is for F2 and F3 as exemption was claimed for F1. So if your degree permits you to claim exemption, pls claim for F1 only bcs if you claim for more than that, you will not get a positive evaluation but if your degree does not qualify you for exemption do F1-F3. 6 months intensive can make this happen for you.

Oya make una go read una book. The exam is not as easy as it sounds oo but it's very doable. This one sure pass TEF or any other degree program o.

Lobatan.. One year college certificate without F1. Where is that guy who wants to claim a waiver on F1-F3 and get a diploma without doing any exams? F2-F3 can do the trick.

Well, I don't think it's about writing more than one paper. ACCA will award you the certificate if you write at least one paper (with exemptions in the other two papers)and complete the ethics module.

What matters is you getting the certificate. WES should be able to give it a positive assessment.

And the lady her friend wants to go to Canada for a college sth, take note.
E be like Indians never discover this Apiam way. Na TEF, doing college in Canada, online program and Open university in India them dey too talk about.

This is not mine but I took pains to get it from some whom I found out has done it. Had to follow up for like 3wks now to get it

Presently I am on 435 but my EOR is still baking...hoping to get a 0.5 upgrade in my writing and speaking which stands at 7 each but with 7.5 each, I move to 441 and I won't even have to do ACCA.

But I am already preparing for F2 n F3 as a backup plan. So from estimate 150k to 200k should be enuf if you pass all in one sitting.

Na the surest way to go be this...so let's all push for it. A whatSapp group can be created to help share materials and ideas.

@mcstan na una be veteran for here..so make una carry us along biko.

Someone can try and let others follow. Me i will not gamble with this rare opportunity o

I am an ICAN ACA holder( my greatest undoing fa) and doing f2 n f3 will just only take me some time to brush up.

I will do that which I am sure of.

The target isint just getting the certificate, its about getting a positive evaluation (take note)
