even when I was in school, there was a group that used to organise themselves to touch the lives of the less privileged and orphans by reaching out to them at regular intervals by identifying and doing everything to meet their needs and since you like parties, yes they ALWAYS threw parties for them, they ALWAYS did.

This is an express command from Jesus christ himself, it is not a metaphor, this is clear and express. Jesus did not mix words here. Yet it is a commandment almost no christian practices. Why?

since i was born till date, i have Never seen a christian practice this

James 1:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

These are obviously more important commandments than tithing that was never commanded in the new testament and yet christians have failed to practice this while donating to the building of mega churches, buying of unnecessary worldly possessions all with the excuse that jesus rode on a borrowed donkey and jesus was never poor.

It is time we question if we truely have a heart or just serving God for money
