even their citizens doesn't have job, if you wanna leave Nigeria to any other African countries make sure u r leaving for business purposes only, u can consider traveling to European countries or America for work.

Don't make a mistake leaving Nigeria to seek fr job opportunity in another African country because u won't find, some would rather give their job to a Sudanese/Eritrean person than a Nigerian

I don't think this is entirely true . There are many job opportunities in many African countries but the truth is certain things have to be in place .
,never travel to an African country to hustle if you don't have anyone on ground there to put you through. To easily survive in an african country one has to have survival technical skills which one can make use of immediately one lands and unfortunately computer literacy isn't one of those skills ,skills such as capentry, bricklaying, electrical repairs, tailoring, hair dressing are skills that will quickly attract employment opportunities at least for a newcomer to survive with before he or she finally finds his feet. Lastly make sure you travel with more than enough funds at least to feed for 3 months ,this is very very important. Ppl should look at it this way,how will it look if a gambian just comes into Nigeria without any money ,without knowing anyone ,without hearing the local language, and he is saying he wants to hustle? The same scenario too applies to Nigerians who travel without proper orientation,go with proper skills, and have more than enough funds to survive with for 3months . Lastly ,commit your journey into the Hands of God ,He alone can make all things work out

Below are the pictures I was able to take during my lunch time.

This hotel is really affordable and the meals are very good and cheap.

I'd recommend anyone coming to Maputo to try them out

By the way, I will be back to Nigeria anytime next week grin

What is this hotel name?

honestly if age is on your side and you dont have much funds , i will suggest west african countries . for the following reasons
1)large population of nigerians in those countries to quickily help you settle down
2)close proximity and low expenses to nigeria
3)very easy to assimilate into the system

Where to go isn't important, there are opportunities everywhere in every country. What really matters is what you have to offer them where you are going.

Economist on paper with no practical experience is what I see! Chikina.

edoman2016:

You think I am judging with what I read on newspaper? Last time i checked, I told you I am an economist working with an international organization. I have travelled to several African countries for working purposes. So I am talking from reality. I have no problem if you are sharing diary of your vacation in Mozambique with Nigerians. I am good with it. But comparing Mozambique with Nigeria in terms of economic, business and job opportunities, then you have gone too far.

You are talking about foreigners in Mozambique running small businesses like hair salon, restaurant etc in Mozambique. Do you know that Nigeria have over 17 millions of SMEs business? SMEs business such as tailoring, barbing, catering and baking, hair dressing, welding, vulcanizing, mechanics etc are the large source of employment and income for Nigerians. And the number of SMEs business in Nigeria is still growing more.

I won't make comments on this thread again. A word is enough for the wise. Good day.

Okay oh, but me and you know wetin carry you go there.

I know you don't have any intentions to advertise Moz, you only here to share your trip experience and some photos but Nigerians who would grab their bags and move to anywhere even desert changed the story.

My dear sis, I have nothing against you but just telling you and others the bitter truth. You can't settle in Moz without having little skills in scam, it's not easy overthere. I've been thru it, believe me.

And ,

Where do you read him said one should not have a skill to travel down Moz?

Wow ... funny, been to those places before you checked out high school.

My point is, don't be too carried away with those things you see there, we also have them here.

Stop behaving like osofia first visit to London.

We have what?

Iammercy2018:
if you like been there before I was born its none of my biz.

And don't tell me how to behave, am not carried away with anything, I am only posting pictures of m trips and if you don't like it leave this thread is as simple as that.

This is not your home where you give your children rules
And I'll still say it Moz is better than Nigeria in terms of electricity and road

Moz.. Electricity 100%, roads 80%
Nigeria. Electricity 40% roads 60%

If you're no happy reading the truth, hit your head for wall

Our electricity is 20%,while our road is 15%. No exaggeration pls.

Well! with this reasoning of yours, i cannot but tell you that 80% of Nigerians are very gullible and that's why our country will forever remain the same, most of you easily believe anything they tell you just like useless impeachment saga, i can see many nairalanders supporting the senates. Guy not everything they tell you is real, this is Nigeria.

Accusing some1 of what you are also guilty of ...all dis Buhari supporters no hard to find

Hi, please visit vfs global on the island if you reside in Lagos, you also visit there office in port Harcourt or Abuja, I didn't apply for their visa in Nigeria, but since they don't have embassy in Nigeria, you can apply through the South African embassy.

You just need to have a

Bank statement

Yellow card

Itinerary booking

Hotel reservation and about 100$ in total for visa fee and other unforseen expenses.
