I thought the promise was that Nigeria would change if we Nigerians voted in APC?

What changed?

If we refuse to put God first in whatever we do, we are headed for doom. As a country with lots of challenges, the best we can do is stay under God's guide so he can lead us all.

Now I'm confused, is it creativity or obeying God? I don't understand. And how can Nigeria with various religions obey "god"? Which of the gods is that? I don't know the "god" people in Finland or Norway obey or China and Japan so Osinbajo can help us import that god so Nigeria can start obeying him.. Smh

Here's how Nigerian decisions to live faithfully can invite God's transforming power into are life: Seek true life, Embrace an abundant life, Deny yourself to find rewards in God, Break free, Cry, "Abba, Father!", Recognize the difference between opinion and truth, Mirror Christ's likeness,
Look forward to the resurrection....,

Nations are built by the contributions of many... Government alone cannot do it, we need to support the government both physical and spiritual for the country to progress and achieve our aim... Creativity, innovation and hardworking are the keys to success. If we don't wait for the govt to do every things for us we would get it right, let's be creative on our own and find something reasonable doing that will give us income without depending on any govt, we would not only be great, the country will be great and we would have hope for better future... May God help us

Your views are also idealistic sister

Those leaders espouse those same values and strategies you speak of

But the “doing” is zero

My question to you is what have you done to improve your own lot and those of others?

I am not disagreeing with you by the way
Literally speaking, in view of making Nigeria great, everyone's view will always be idealistic unless you are in a position of power like Osinbajo. "Change starts with you" mantra and all that is a waste of time without a collective effort from everyone else (statically impossible). Hence, why you need government to force or engineer the change.
Asking me what I have done is merely a deflecting tactics as it wouldn't change the perspective of significant number of Nigerians. Irrespective of my contribution, statically speaking, lot of Nigerians with less privilege has probably made a bigger impact on their society. Does that fact invalidate my political voice or yours? Now, the real question is, why hasn't their contribution been able to make any difference for many years. Nigeria has been blessed with many activist over the years, so what happened to their contribution? Mr Genius, why is it that a region was able to make a significant progress under a man called Awolowo than all others (Only for his kinsmen to let him down)? How was Chao Ming able to make such a significant difference, what about Lee Kuan Yew?
It's because real change starts from the top, in which case your question will be more relevant to your leaders. Whatever you do is merely scratching an insignificant surface.

lool.. you could almost predict the same boring idealistic nonsense from these politicians. There are many countries less religious and much more morally bankrupt, that are more prosperous than Nigeria. Humans by nature, are built to do the wrong things if there aren't any consequences. It's the consequences of the behavior that will affect the behavior of Nigerians significantly.

In other words, you need a water tight law that is fair, absolute, less ambiguous and binding to change the behavior of the average Nigerians. You also needs strategies to aid growth, improve education, standard welfare etc.

Let's talk about strategies that brings about real change and less idealist talk please.

He was in church when he made this statement, if you can decipher the whole things, you would understand how the vice president has been working immensely towards the growth of this nation's economy and betterment of this country. He urges the youth to be more creative and hardworking not for the development of the country alone but for ourselves...

Religion is a big problem in this country..we are very religious but Godless in our behavior..The politicians whose hands have been stained with blood of the innocent, who have embezzled public fund, will go to this same church and lift holy hands in thanksgiving..these corrupt people will be given front role in the church and allowed to speak in the sanctuary of the most high..the church rick of hypocrisy and greed..they worship nothing but money and fame..if you want to test a real man of God shower him with all manner of gift and money and your name will ever remain in his lip disregarding if the person is a fraudster, A ritualist or a corrupt politician. They do not care about the s source of your wealth....This is the reason why i have stop going to church..i usually pray in house every Sunday..and God has always been with me. I would rather vote a non religious person that than someone who claim to be a man of God.The day will all decide to do away with religion in politic that is when Nigeria will get better.

Fine. In my opinion, the only message that is relevant is the personal development. Preaching that the whole country should obey God is a waste of time and you also know it..
He needs to lobby for a law that enforce this change of behaviors and attitude of both politicians and fellow Nigerians. He hasn't said what other Old/dead Pastors haven't said since the creation of the nation....

Well your view then leaves us in a state of Despondency and hopelessness since whatever little thing we do is insignificant according to you.

I do agree that societal development must be driven from the top. However if the leadership is lacking we have no other choice but to do the little we can to improve our collective lot.

I do appreciate your intelligence, and hope to meet an african woman like u some day.

Yes, 2 Chr. 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Starting from the false churches, the false, greedy and corrupt prophets, general overseers, and their followers, the corrupt senators, judges and other leaders, corrupt, selfish and greedy lecturers, doctors, to the least possible in Nigeria.

I often felt that way too my bro

Dividing this mess

But Nigeria is fast becoming the cultural capital of the African continent

This is mostly down to the efforts of our youths in entertainment.

Osibanjo should shut up. Nigeria is the most religious country in the world, but one of the worst countries to be in. all the atheist countries in europe like sweden and norway are doing great. God has nothing to do with this. its common sense.

Are you advocating this breakup for Nigeria only or for all the artificially created colonial borders in Africa ?

Don’t you think we are far too intertwined already ?

I also dream of an odua nation in the west but I think we will all have diminished international and continental influence if we break up into smaller nations
