I can give you three good reasons why Joel Obi might b dropped.
1) He is injury prone.. no sensible coach will take an injury prone player to the world cup without proper assessment of his fitness level
2) He isn't a regular in the team.. I dare say even Mikel Agu is ahead of him currently.. When he was injury free and in form after Rohr was appointed, was he invited?
3) He hasn't done anything extraordinary better than our current midfielders in the GWG . club and national team are different.. in the two games Joel played in March,he did nothing special despite all the hype his fans gave him...

so don't rule out the possibility of him being dropped yet

I do not buy the injury prone argument. There are other injury prone players in the team.

Mikel Agu is NOT ahead of Joel... Joel came in and played games ahead of players that had been there for a long time. Ogu and Agbo have been in the team for longer. Joel must have done something right in training.

Joel Obi is a defensive midfielder, if you are looking for tackling, he is your man.. He is not the man to create chances for you. His friendly performances were not great but i expect him to make the team. He is good enough.

Ajiboye will only go to world cup if one of the three keepers is injured
I wouldn't underrate him at this stage o. Only Uzoho..... Can't even beat my chest and say that sef. It's an equal slot for all Keepers. Ajiboyr may have a better chance than Akpeyi still.

Its cos of the stadium and commonwealth traditions passed onto us by colonial peeps. We love to have our stadiums with tracks... Cant they just build a fine stadium like Bernabeu or even Newcastle's?

Local channels used to show Champions 'league' (used to be called champions cup) games live.

I remember watching Ajax vs Juve back to back.

Thanks. However, I was just pointing out that the Cable satellite devices showed sports channels because when I watched the replay of the Dortmund vs Juventus finals, It was on one of the sports channels showed.

As for Iwobi's dad following him, that one dey, na so some people papa dey follow them come University. Iwobi has proven himself incapable of making sound decisions when he is left to his own antics, so, make him papa hold him hand very well as much as he can.
i don't think it has to do with decision. i think it has to do with support and his dad always being there for him.

alot of players have reported, in interviews, how their parents always went to their games and training sessions...

I would advise him not too at all. Sean Dyche is not the kind of Manager he needs.

I would advise black players I can say this because we are anonymous NO GO THERE. It's a club I know well
why would a coach want a black player if he doesn't want a black player??

Ola Aina's dad also followed him to Nigeria. Iwobi's and Aina' fathers are actively involved in their children's career.

Nothing wrong with that.

Sad when someone is pointing out a clear fact and someone who has zero idea about it tries to claim Supreme.

I am telling you that I watched Liverpool and Manchester United play FA Cup finals on Multichoice, you are here making fun of a very simple fact. I am even downplaying it. I even posted an article showing Multichoice began operation in 1994 and I am talking 1996 and you are still arguing.

Learn from those who witnessed something and stop sharing ignorance. You were the one who sparked the debate that it was a lie that people followed euro leagues in the nineties. Learn and stop arguing. Multichoice began operations in 1994 in different areas and people were patronizing them, whether you like it or not.
It came to the Airforce Base in when I was in Jss 2. Then we'd leave school to go watch channel O at the mess and we'd curse Abacha under our breathe because urban legend then was that multichoice approached Nigeria first but Abacha drove them away.. Goodjoe you are absolutely correct.

No footballer is injury free yes,but Joel own case with injury is kind of special.. We shouldn't take the risk.. remember what happened to us when Onazi got injured against France in 2014...

BTW, so Joel is now defensive midfielder.. prior to the March friendly, his fans made us believe that he could play the DM,CM and AM role well... If the DM is his main role then why take the risk? we already got Ndidi and Onazi for that role..
