There is nothing special about Joel's case. Balogun has been more injury prone this season.

Joel has always been a CM/DM and on his day is as good as all the other options we have.

We struggled with Onazi's injury because we did not carry alone capable subs. That is not the case now.

Baba, Balogun injury can't be worst than joel injury, he struggle making his club first eleven not injury, joel case was different, always getting injured

Oh did he? My bad. Well I agreed with him on that position because I had toed that line earlier — us going with 7 defenders, 6 midfielders and 7 forwards.

You see, you don't even know what you are agreeing on, Mr joebie don't you think you need some rest?

Does anyone feel like Uyo is being overused? It looks so used up. It's truly a shame that they also don't have LED perimeter systems, considering that other major stadiums have one. Hopefully, Lagos or another city can build a world class stadium.

Oga, this is the post I replied GBAM to. So what are you yapping?
Icon4s:

If left to me I can drop our defenders from 10 to 7 so I can accommodate an extra CF in Simi Nwankwo. The thing is most of us here are attached to certain players and would not want to see them dropped. What are you going to do with 8 defenders when only 4 can start? Besides changing of defenders does not really impact a game that much. It is the changes we make upfront that changes the course of a game. So we should have more options in the attack.

No footballer is injury free yes,but Joel own case with injury is kind of special.. We shouldn't take the risk.. remember what happened to us when Onazi got injured against France in 2014...

BTW, so Joel is now defensive midfielder.. prior to the March friendly, his fans made us believe that he could play the DM,CM and AM role well... If the DM is his main role then why take the risk? we already got Ndidi and Onazi for that role..
He can play as a lwb and LM. He is also better on the ball than both Onazi and Ndidi. He just didn't play well in the friendlies

Oga did I say GBAM to that post? I didn’t even see that post. The point is I’m agreeing to idea that we can go with 7 defs. I never said Argentina names 6 defenders.
So why were u even quoting me in the first place?

Modified
ARG listed 5 forwards. What do u have to say about that?

Wow. Very impressive display. I hope Chukwueze stays focused and believes he can go all the way to become a top footballer. The signs are there and Amunike got this one right.

Wishing the young man the best.

Spain’s roster also shows that they patronize their own league. After all, it is arguably the best in the world (do not quote on this point).

It’s a case of trying to help his career. Also consider Usman Muhammad. Even Kelechi Nwakali. These players should be in our team C at most.

The aforementioned players are in the squad to face Atletico Madrid right?

Joel Obi is better baller. Wait for the next friendly and see him again.
Hahaha.. We should wait till the next friendly again? Was it not the same Joel we saw in the last two friendlies? Tell me your excuse on what went wrong.

But better than almost all the current midfielders we have save Mikel Obi.
better than Ndidi right? That is not even the issue. Everyone knows that Joel is good. But an injury prone player is never to be relied on.
