The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project had also in 2016 urged the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Water Samuel Onnoghen, to immediately appoint an independent counsel to investigate allegations of corruption in the spending of $16 billion on electricity by Obasanjo's government.

He should also account for the astronomical increase in subsidy claims since 2015,despite almost 75% increase in pump price and reduction in fuel consumption!
While at it,Buhari should also account for the billions budgetted for Asorock clinic,that still doesn't have paracetamol while he still travels abroad for an ordinary checkup!!
The last person that should be querying anyone about accounting for funds is Buhari because right from his days as petroleum minister to PTF chairman and now president,fraudulent and unaccounted for monies and budgets have been his second nature.

It has started for OBJ. Another proof that the anti-corruption war is personal, selective and vindictive. The only way out now is to support Mr. President's re-election bid and that is why I implore everyone to support Mr President's re-election so we can face issues of state, issues of progress and development, because if this all goes south and both these men begin to air their dirty linen of years gone by this country will simply grind to a halt.

I said in the run up to the 2015 elections that this corruption thing was simply a waste of time. Everyone past and present stole. How can you then run a democracy, build a government and move the nation forward if you sincerely want to fight corruption by these needless battles. It is impossible. There will be no one left including Mr. President if it is sincere and impersonal. It was bound to be targetted, selective and hidden under a cloak of blackmail and intrigue. There were bound to be waivers for the faithful and wars for the fiends. Mr. President was bound to dine with the devil so he was bound to fail.

If this is to end well for both men, they should just cease fire and maintain their ranks.

To even think that the head of Nigeria's Customs (a top security agency who's officers are supposed to be professional and apolitical at all times) is the leader of a political campaign group is not only shocking but sickening. They should kuku convert Nigeria's Custom's Headquarters in Abuja into Buhari's Campaign Office to complete the equation. Bunch of incompetent fools.
Anyway did I expect an outsider appointed by buhari as Custom's boss against qualified Custom officers who was never a custom officer in the first place to act professionally and apolitical? Professionalism left Nigeria the day buhari was sworn in.
